Modric himself said it wasn't much of a tackle, but landed at the wrong place and hurt like hell, and he that he has no grudge with Bowyer.
I disagree with Modric.
It was a brutal tackle and Bowyer should be suspended for life. :D

We must beat Belarus now and hope Ukraine will fuck up somewhere. England was going to be very tough with or without Luka.
Actually, in theory we could be third even by beating both Belarus and England so in any case we need Ukraine to fuck up somewhere. But if we don't beat England then Ukraine will have to lose points on at least 2 of their remaining 4 matches, which is very tough (they play Andorra twice, they have England at home when the English won't need any points and they play away to Belarus).

We're missing out on the WC Vlatko, lets just accept that.

Meh, I've had hopes after the game in Minsk, but I'm not overly optimistic anymore.

Better that we end 3rd, instead of second and then get Bosnia in further qualifiers. :D

Don't you need to finish second to play in play-off. However play-off could be sick with Croatia, Bosnia and maybe Serbia in it :D

Markovic is an idiot so I wouldn't be surprised if he said that, though I didn't read it anywhere, and it's The Sun after all, so....who cares?

Meanwhile, Redknapp seems to have locked in Niko Kranjcar from Portsmouth. A whole legion of Croatians is forming in Tottenham. I always liked Niko, hopefully he'll fill in for Luka well and still have a place in the starting 11, when Luka gets back.

"Yo, Arsene, would you give me Eduardo so I can kick the Premiership's ass?"

:D
