He isn't newly injured, it's his time table from ankle surgery in May. Rafa said Lucas will play the Xabi role til Aquilani is healthy. Poulsen would be a terrible buy because all three of our center backs (Agger, Skrtel, Carragher)are injured and may not be back for the Yids on opening day.

It has already been played. "Liverpool" won 1-0. Dunmanway are a completely amateur non-league team from Cork. I'd never heard of them until this match was announced. Weird choice by Liverpool.
