Thats a big problem, Liverpool need to win all their games and hope City lose atleast 2, 3 if they win their game in hand. Liverpool are out of it for me.

Funny as anything really. You have a Fernando Torres on the pitch, you take him off because he's not having a great game and you put someone like Ngog on?! Torres is definitely one of the few strikers who can make the difference out of nowhere, with a moment of genius.

The chances Ngog just screwed up afterwards, Torres would've scored with his eyes closed.

Torres' conversion rate of chances hasn't been up to his usual high standards of late, certainly from what I have seen.

You're right, but when Ngog is the alternative...

I was simply trying to say that as a coach you know Torres has the ability to score out of nowhere, and Ngog is such a step back, even a patch of 'bad' form shouldn't weigh in favour of thinking Ngog would save your game for you.


But yea, I understand how the way I expressed myself there made it seem he took a Torres in red hot form off.

However, Torres did, apparently, get an ice pack on his knee as soon as he came off.

Also, maybe Benitez has already half given up on getting a CL spot and was looking towards the game against Benfica.

Thats true, he hasn't really been his deadly self this season, but only for his high standards, despite missing chances he wouldn't miss normally i still say he is one of the deadliest strikers this season. I mean he's scored 18 league goals already and he's missed half the season, imagine if he hadn't been injured?
