He's out for the season. Time for Nasri to step up and take Cesc's position. He has no excuses now, he is going to be played in his favored position.

Nasri has been great this season, at least when I see him play. I'd love to see him at Juve, he's just what we need ATM.

He has been really good over the past month or so, so has most of the team tbh. But he was injured for most of the first half of the season, and he was just ok up until the last 5-6 games. Ever since he's been really good though.

I don't think teams like Burnley and Porto are indication enough, but in both those games he was absoltely brilliant when played in his favored central position.

Yes, and we can pay money to get him too!

Does Francesc miss the World Cup?
possibly

I thought he was pathetic last night.

His attempts at tracking Alves, especially in the first half, were virtually non-existant and allowed Barca to get down the sides of Arsenal far too easily.

He didn't play his favored CM position yesterday red and that's why you're not so impressed by him although he did in fact create some good chances for his team.

He's gonna be the one Arsenal are gonna rely on so much in the 2nd leg and I bet he'll have a great game there.

I know he's best in the centre, but all he had to do was to work hard and match Alves' runs.

I'm not asking him to put in a brilliant display as a winger - just to work hard and do what the team needed him to do - and I don't think he did that.

You believe Tevez is the better player? Do you think Tevez was better at United??
Ugh. Rooney has talent, sick technique, and overall a very very good player. He's a better player than Tevez, and was better than him when both were at Manchowder. Regardless I'd take Tevez becuase of Rooney's fuckery off the pitch and arrogence/attitude on it.

He didn't track back as well as he should have, but he was asked to play higher up the pitch for the sake of our 4-3-3 and at the same time asked to track back, he's no Malouda, it isn't his game. After his performances at CM this season i am inclined to believe his poor performances with us have more to do with him being played out of position.

Rooney's attitude in all fairness has improved considerably over the past year.

Plus it's not an Ibra/Balotelli/C. Ronaldo type of attitude problem, he just has a temper/is a dirty scouser.

If we had the option of anybody for that AM-SS role I'd pick Rooney everytime, except Messi but that's sorta different.
