Living abroad in the same place all their lives? Surely then they could adopt whoever the local team in that place is.

First thing, no you can't adopt the local team in the place you're in. How the fuck does that work?

Second thing, no i have not been living in the same place all my life. I lived in Glasgow, then Kuala Lumpur and now 9 years here in Sharjah.

When will breaking legs in half stop being a hobby for EPL players? I was completely unaware of this latest Ramsey incident. That shit has gotta stop. Arsenal has some curse, it's always the youngsters that get butchered.

When the FA stop being cunts and when English football academies stop encouraging these kind of tackles.
It's completely fucked up. Just looking at the face expression of the players on the pitch, tells enough of the horror... I just read a Wenger interview in which he's saying how do you prepare a 19 year old kid to come on the pitch again, after such an injury? All I can say is in-fucking-deed. Something's gotta be done. Give them 15-games suspensions, even though it isn't intentional, it's still fucking gruesome.

Indeed they need to be punished.

All i keep reading is things like, how Shawcross is going to get over this, how he doesn't have a malicous bone in his body, how the tackle wasn't intentional and wasn't malicious and how he was crying out of regret after the tackle. Well boo fucking hoo, he's going to be back playing in 3-4 weeks while poor Aaron is going to spend the next 13-14 months in rehab. So frankly i couldn't give a flying fuck about Shawcross.

Of course he didn't intend to break Aaron's leg, i mean he isn't a phsycopath. But dangerous, clumsy and irresponsible tackles like these should be punished. He should get half a season on the sidelines at the very least. Its only fair.

It's not fair.

You can't punish a guy just because of the consequences.

Tackles worse than the Shawcross one are put in every week, but don't cause serious injury.

At least what Shawcross did was an attenpt to play the ball, even if it was overly aggressive.

In some ways the challenge by the Arsenal player (Galllas?) against Bolton, immediately before Arsenal scored was worse; he was miles away from the ball and just stood on the Bolton player's ankle.

Exactly. It was unfortunate. The only way you stop it is give every tackle at any pace, no matter the outcome, a yellow card. Who wants to see that? I can't see many English fans wanting to see their football turned into a non contact sport.

At one point, West Ham were spending a whopping 80% of their turnover on wages.

No wonder EPL teams are in serious trouble if they are doing stupid things like that.
"Two players, one of whom has since left, started a combined total of 32 games and will have cost the group over £34million over the terms of their contracts" - West Ham financial director Nick Igoe

Trivia for all: You get a Jaffa cake if you can guess which two (hint very easy) WITHOUT reading the above link (havent read it, but sure the answer is there) :D

I already know being in England, but it just epitomises how reckless PL owners are. They really thought there was an endless well of money, idiots.
