ha ha

where are all the "man utd are just as good without ronaldo" brigade now ?

AC Milan will knock man utd out, you'll see
Er, they're missing more people than Air France right now - their only fit senior defender is Evra. Take pleasure in them losing if you like, but let's not pretend that that's their best team getting whipped.

As for the last sentence (AC Milan will knock ...), then I can only remind you about the similar (same, actually) comments this time last year when Chelsea were pathetic and everyone was convinced that we stand a very good chance to eliminate them.

2 months is a long time.

By that time Milan will have Beckham and United will have purchased someone better in January.
And even in their current form and current squads, I wouldn't bet a penny on Milan eliminating Manchester.
This Milan was humiliated 0:4 against Inter, they couldn't beat Zurich, and even lost at home, and the only worthy thing they did this year were the 45 minutes in Madrid against a Ronaldo-less Real Madrid, with a bunch of newbies who didn't even know each other well.

I'm watching a re-run of the Fulham - Manchowder game.

What's with Manchowder's formation?

Kuszczak

Fletcher - Carrick - De Laet

Valencia - Gibson - Scholes - Evra

Anderson

Rooney - Owen

Scholes should have retired last season, really.

As for Arsenal, they are in real contention for the title provided they can purchase the necessary reinforcements.

One striker,DM & CB & i'm sure they can push, provided they keep up the good results.

As backup for Vermaelen and Gallas or to replace one of them?

Kuszczak punches the ball away from Clint Dempsey's head and Dempsey goes down like he was punched in the head. The whistle goes because he was off side and he gets up and starts running back into position, forgetting that he had supposedly just been punched in the head. :dielaugh:
