What a day in the EPL. Chelsea - Everton game was interesting to watch. Everton's defense was a joke today, but Chelsea kept gifting them goals from stupid defensive mistakes. Despite missing 6 players, Everton did rather well against the Russians.

Aston Villa have now beaten all 3 of the big four they faced. They beat Pool at Anfield, United at Old Trafford and Chelsea at Villa Park. They were brilliant today, very solid at the back, and worked extremely hard in midfield. I don't like them, and their style of football irks me to say the least, but nobody can deny that they are a tough nut to crack and always give the big teams something to think about.

A.Young, Agbonlahor and Dunne

Double  to Milner for playing out of position, yet doing very well.

The league got interesting now. I'm hoping for a semi miracle tomorrow at Anfield.

Pool mostly do well against the big teams under Rafa. Especially at Anfield, they are always a tough team.

Haha, nice one :D

The return of Gerrard, Torres and Aquilani to full match fitness coincided with our game. How fucking unlucky is that for us:mad:

I think that you guys have a much bigger chance of winning the game. Its been a long time since we've beaten you at Anfield in a league game. Its never happened under Rafa.

Also you guys always step your game up against the bigger teams. and with Torres and Gerrard back. The former i am sure will come to haunt us yet again.

Match fitness won't mean shit if we play like crap. We haven't had a good game since Manchester. Usually we do pretty poorly against Arsenal. Sure we've got something to prove, but I see your team as a favorite.

At Anfield you guys tend to play poorly, but always beat us in the end :D

I'm expecting a similar scenario tomorrow. Plenty of possession for us, a few chances here and there, then two counter attacks that end with Torres scoring.

Also we have a lot of important players missing for this game. We have no real recognizable striker. I'm not sure if Eduardo is going to be back, but to be honest i don't trust him in a game like this. Hope Wenger plays Arsha as the main striker, he seemed to do well in the role in the last game against Stoke.

Torres terrifies me though. I was really hoping he wouldn't be ready for our game.

It's hard to say what his fitness is. I'll reserve judgement until my team plays 2 decent matches in a row. Until then my official line is "We suck, if your anyone other than my ninth grade rec team, you can probably beat us".:D

Big mistake by Fergie to start Rooney alone up front today.

If he wanted to play 4-3-3/4-5-1, he should have gone with Owen or Berbatov as the CF and moved Rooney to the left.

Oh, and Rooney was absolutely awful today. :D

I loved how the English commentators tried to ignore Rooney's dive and started making excuses for him.

Henry handles once: Cheat.

Rooney is booked for diving (at long last): It's not like him at all.

Pricks.

Hoori, I hate Rooney, but I'm not blinded by it.

I've been in arguments on here in the past arguing in Rooney's favour.

Nice to see you back.
