the only reason Zhar is so highly rated was because of his exploits in the U21 youth cup(cant remember which year, the one that messi played in) He took Morocco to the semi's and was chosen third best player of the tournament after Messi and Mikel.

I didn't know that, but i've seen him several times this year and he's been decent.

Dossena is much better as LM, since he has no idea how to defend. the problem is that his crosses are 90% crap, he's not too quick, and doesn't have a very good footballing brain

and Insua did look good. how was darby? I missed the couple touches he had. Lucas had a decent game as well, plessis had a crap tackle early, and never got going after that

Still, i believe Plessis has the potential to turn into a good dm, he wont get his chance for you guys any time soon though. Masch is still just 24, and he is just world class.

agreed. I was shocked when he did so well against arsenal last year, but since then he's been disappointing. he clearly needs playing time, and not in the reserves

That's one of my biggest disagreements with Rafa. Our Reserve and Youth teams always to very well, but they get wasted against poor competition and never get any better.

agreed. he does a good job of finding them, the whole setup is decent, but they never get games against decent teams
