i think the thing is with Man City is that they hit the ground running too soon imo. I see them fading away later on in the season when their obvious incompetencies become evident to the other teams
i hope not though, cause i kinda like what sven has done with the team
Tottenham finished top 5 for two consecutive seasons and was the only premiership club (outside of big 4) to do that during the last decade. And that same team strenthen it self considerably in the off season.
I would sey they are better equiped than anyone to brake into the top 4.
But obviously not this year.

I had the same opinion previous and this season. But I am not convinced anymore. Their incosistency made me change my mind. I would give Newcastle a lot better chance. Especially now that they have a good manager. Man. City fairly close to them. Also let´s assume they are spared of injuries.
I wouldnt underestimate Chelsea to be honest..i dont think they're capable of winning the league..but the gap in quality between them and the other teams bar the top 4 is too big..whoever their manager is,theres no way they're going to miss out on a CL place(unfortunately)

i'd tend to agree with that..they wont keep it up for too long..at least not long enough to keep them in the top 4..IMO there is no team capable of breaking into the top 4..they can come close..but thats the best they can do.
I also like what Sven is doing to the team,i especially like that he's trying to introduce the #10 role to the premiership..Hope it works for them.

agreed...His excuse last season was that he selected players based on club performance..and since Trez was playing in Serie B..then others were better..but whats his excuse now??Trez has scored more goals this season than Henry and Anelka combined

His excuse is that the system he plays does not suit Trezeguet.I think Domenech is a crap mananger, but i think the sole reason Trezeguet doesnt get to play as much is because of the tactics Domenech employs, which is a valid reason IMO.The system he plays is made for someone like Henry and not Trezeguet.
