Coutinho was cack in Serie A too
Shaqiri, Pelle, Arnautovic, Bojan, Coutinho...al back in Serie A, all lighting up the PL.

Not saying that there hasn't been Serie A players who failed in the EPL (clearly there has been many) but this pathetic and arrogant notion from PremHeads that players from the "Mickey Mouse" Serie A never prosper in England.

Its crazy really, not just the sum but kinda players Stoke frigging attract.

He must been really bad for Porto to give up on him within 6 months (and make a profit mind you). Odd considering he looked fantastic as hell for Marseille. But guess he will do well in EPL, seems kinda player who would fit its style easily.

Keep an eye on James Maddison who Norwich have taken from Coventry for the summer for yet another pathetic fee (fuck Sisu), he's a real talent, similar in style to Grealish at Villa.

Are you happy about the happenings at Villa?
Of course, absolute wank bunch of fans with delusions of grandeur.

Talk about iffy deals, Watford signed two players, one (Abdoulaye Doucoure) from Rennes and sent him straight to Granada on loan. The second (Adalberto Penaranda) is an 18 year old Venezuelan who is worth about £5.50 and a Snickers. He was signed from Udinese and sent on loan to Granada. I read that the two deals combined cost Watford over £16m...

Just a thought on Pep's City:

I think Silva could be good in a deeper role, but the squad would need to be balanced with a world class ball winning defensive minded midfielder and a steady back for to cover for Silvas defensive shortcomings. Thats the biggest challenge for Pep, to me, how to balance the team which consists of plenty of creative attacking minded players who contribute very little to defense. In 70% of games in PL thats not gonna be a problem, but in Europe and against top PL teams that can counter attack, team balance will be something for Pep to look at. I personally feel they dont have the personel to be a world class team and i dont have confidence that Pep (+whoever buys players) will bring in the right players this summer. But if im wrong, things could get interesting in CL next year. I have no doubt Man City will do very well in PL, but its about time they show their supposed world class credentials in Europe.

In a few years Udinese will be a far bigger player in Serie A. Pozzo might be the new Medici :D
