What are Soldado, Hazard and Costa doing there?

And to answer your question, it has to be Adriano.

None of those teams are trying to defend, so the 0-0 scores are not the same as big calcio clashes. Watch a Man Utd and you can see what has happened to the league, having a big pile of cash to fall back on has impaired crucial decision making.

Arsenal are the only big team playing to an acceptable level, but they are basically the same as they always are. After 19 rounds they have 39 points. 2014/15 they had 33, 2013/14 they had 42, 2012/13 they had 33. The difference is the big teams around them. Basically if they don't win the league this year they have gone beyond laughing stock, and they should finally fire Wenger.

When people talk up Mesut Özil as the best player in the league you can tell the falling standard. He isn't, it's either Agüero or Hazard, but they have other issues. You could barely pick a world class player at either Man Utd or Liverpool. Özil is the ultimate good time player, when he has these spells of form people fall over themselves, but he's nowhere when the going gets tough.

Now that Mourinho is gone, they also have only one world class coach in Ranieri.

Tbh I still think the best team in EPL now is City, they'll go for the title in the end. Arsenal will slow down as they usually do.
