Number of crosses from y'day match: 18 Stoke - 8 L'pool, how can you expect from Benteke to show his best if you don't put enough crosses on him
Rus you're basically saying the same thing over and over again. I know he needs crosses but he's a more complete footballer than just a big target man, so he's not completely reliant on service, he can play a bit himself.

I suppose I'll post a youtube video of some skill moves now.

He is a big centre forward, a lot of his goals will be like that. Lambert and Carroll are just target men. You hoof the ball up to them or cross it in. Benteke can play with the ball on the ground as well.

I do realise that at this point I'm talking to myself, so have a nice day.

When they've signed Lambert, they've said that he is nothing like Andy Carroll, now they've signed Benteke and said the he is nothing like Lambert, the truth is that they are absolutely the same type of forwards, if you need a big target man who is good with his footplay also then you have to sign Llorente, not Benteke

Not to mention, Aston Villa are not exactly a team full of creative players, so obviously the only service he was going to get there, are long balls hoofed forward and crosses.

Did you watch Lambert for Southhampton. They were definitely not a typical English side like Aston Villa are. They actually play football in that club.

Sterling strikes again  he just had a car accident in London but the official version is that it wasn't him in the car but his friend, they've found two laughing gas canisters inside the car

Poor Mercedes tho :(
