Nah, Community Shield (basically thei Supercoppa) makes more sense, it's a pre-seasons game between the league and cup winner as a season's opener so to say.
The League Cup serves no purpose. Everything it does, is done much better by the FA Cup. There's nothing it adds. It's completely and utterly pointless.
