They have gone exactly as I said they would, it was so obviouse.

All the signings, they have not improved the 1st team.

As a first 11, we are still better than them.

Individually they have the better players on paper, I don't think thats up for debate. However as a team, as a collective you guys certainly punch above your weight, which is admirable.

I mean think about it, you don't have any winger who is as good as Sterling, you don't have a midfielder thats as good as Gerrard, not even Henderson for that matter. On paper you'd think Skrtel and Lovren are better defenders than Jagielka - Stones/Distin.

Football doesn't work on paper, and having the better individuals doesnt always mean you have a better team. Thats when the manager, group dynamics etc come into the equation. This post isn't meant to underestimate Everton, on the contrary I actually admire Everton as a club. I think you're a well managed club with a coach that is fully maximizing the output from the limited resources he has(compared to the other big five at least).

Eto is better than ballotelli and lambert. Lukaku can be unplayable.

Naisimith is a decent player, and is producing more than many of their attackers.

Liverpool have far better depth, Couyinto, Markovic, even borini. Flanagan, Lucas, Allen are all better than our reserve players.

For example Naismith is definitely having a better season than Balotelli, but on paper Balotelli is definitely the better player. Its like Tadic is having a better season than Ozil, but that just means he's in better form. Ozil on his game? the two aren't comparable.

So what I'm saying is that Liverpool have better individuals, but because Everton is such a well managed club, Martinez is doing well with the team he's utilizing his resources a lot better than Rodgers is utilizing his, which is why Naismith is playing better than Balotelli, Jagielka is performing at a higher level than Liverpool's CB's.

I just dont agree they have better players, a few years ago, yes. But not now, no way.

They have better depth than us, but that is it.

Jagielka is playing worse now than he has for over 6 years, and he is still better than Skrtel.

James McCarthy is easily at minimum as good as Jordon Henderson.

Ross Barkley has as much potential as Sterling.

Miralles is as good as Lellana & Coutinho.

Sturridge is currently better than Lukaku, but Lukaku has much higher potential.

Our accademy is better too.

He was still not fit enough to play 2 games a week, so it was always a choice between Burnley and Anderlecht. Also I would advise you to have someone else on your team for the time being, Ramsey is trying too hard lately, he probably won't be back in form until another few weeks

I had Sanchez, Wenger benched him for couple of games, then I grabbed Ramsey and now Wenger is benching him.

You can guarantee that Sanchez won't be benched any more , neither will Ramsey now he's back to full fitness, but I doubt Ramsey will produce what he did last season, at least until he gets his confidence back.

Yes I do. Especially the next two against Swansea and United. We have Koscielny and Debuchy out injured, which means Monreal is probably going to play as a centerback in the next two games. Add to that the fact we don't have a proper DM, we'll surely ship in a few goals in the coming few matches.

He's good, but often injured. Seems these fast English wing players either have mental or physical break downs at some point, the latter can't be a coincidence. The tempo is tough, some of these (Walcott, Lennon, Ox included) are playing regularly from 16-17 and get burned out.

That's what happens when pacey players (with more fast twitch muscles fibres) have the same training regimen as all the other players. They should really have lighter training schedules

You'll find most of the English people of African descent who have played or are currently playing in the Premier League are of West African origin (either directly, or via the Caribbean). In the next generations onwards there will be a lot more with Somali, Congolese, Burundian and Sudanese heritage.
