United or City for me. Chelsea have the squad to win it but don't think they would for several reasons, with their likely focusing on the CL being one of those.

Chelsea's squad is very strong, they should probably be favourites, and I'd be surprised if Mourinho can't win the league with this team. It'd be a big failure otherwise.

Courtois
(Cech?)
(Schwarzer)

Ivanovic - Cahill - Terry - Filipe Luis
(Azpilicueta - Zouma - Ake)

Ramires - Matic
(Mikel - Van Ginkel)

Willian - Fabregas - Hazard
(Salah - Oscar - Schurrle)

Diego Costa
(Drogba)
(Torres)

They look maybe one defender short, but the likes of Ivanovic, Azpilicueta and Ake are very versatile.

City are closest to matching them, but the PL should have 5 strong teams this year on paper, and United have a big advantage with no European football. You will see Mourinho whine and moan like crazy about this all season.
I agree, Chelsea are definitely favorites. Filipe, Cesc and Diego Costa are considerable upgrades over Azpi on the left, Torres/Etoo, and Oscar.

City have a strong side already, and they have the advantage of stability, so I think its pretty close between them and Chelsea, though the latter just edges it for me.

Arsenal: It depends if and who Wenger gets for the CB and DM positions, especially DM IMO, if he doesn't get us a top defensive midfielder that would be a considerable upgrade on Arteta then IMO we will struggle this season. Our squad wouldn't be half bad if Wenger brings in someone like Khedira/Bender and a centerback. I'd even back us to give City and Chelsea a run for their money in that case.

Also Giroud replacement, kinda funny seeing him being booed by his own fans in a friendly game. Bit weak to start another campaign with him as starter.

I am assuming Wenger will start Sanchez as the main striker, If Giroud starts for us this season, it will be nothing short of disastrous.

1. Chelsea
2. City
3. Arse
4. Man Spew
5. Liverpool

I just hope Tottenham or Everton somehow have fantastic seasons, and get that fourth spot from the evil grip of United or Loserpool :xfinger:

It's gonna be tough this year though, looks like 5 strong teams. Chelski and City are surely going to finish top 4. United only have the league and LvG will not accept anything but top 4, which leaves you and the scousers :D

Markovic on the other hand looks like he'll be a top, top player, as 'Arry would say. I've no idea about the Spaniards Rodgers goes in for, could be hit or miss. I also expect Sturridge to grab most of the headlines, sometimes Suarez stepped on his toes.

Fuck LVG, his team still needs 2-3 signings, as things stand right now; Man Utd's personnel is just not good enough. They are seriously lacking in the centerback, rightback and central midfield positions.

Between United and Arsenal, I think a lot depends on the transfer activity from today until the end of the season.

Can't see them being consistent with that defense. Evans, Smalling, Jones. All three on the field at the same time. Yikes.

It's hard for me to come up with a top four because I think Everton and the Spurs could fight for a spot too.
