It's true that it took him some time to recover his confidence after that nasty injury of his but the talent was never in doubt. Ramsey is a top player.

Now Wilshere is in the position Ramsey was 2 years ago. He's in limbo right now. However, I think that Ramsey is the more talented of the two.

Never have I been as wrong about an Arsenal player as I have Ramsey. You don't have to go as far as two years ago actually, last summer before the season started, I was absolutely livid that Wenger intended to give him another chance and keep him in the starting lineup. With the benefit of hindsight, obviously I'm so far off the mark, but IMO he exploded in a way very few people expected last year. Needless to say I'm glad I was so wrong

You know between Jack and Aaron, I really do think the former is the more naturally gifted player. But he's stagnated and stopped developing, while Ramsey has been moving from strength to strenth. Ramsey has also developed into a much more intelligent player as Osman said, and in general utilizes his ability much more than Wilshere does.
