It almost seems like the players are trying to play for the fans rather than moyes. I also think rooney running around trying to be a defensive hero half the time hasnt helped the team in terms of maintaining shape and awareness. Ultimately speaking a lot of the problems lie with midfielders like fletcher and cleverley and what they actually offer. How they have spent 2 transfer windows under moyes and not addressed the mid is beyond me. Perhaps man utd really did over achieve in saf's last few seasons

Agreed about the Delneri - Moyes comparison. And Charlie Adam is their Pellisier. Meant to mention that back when he scored a brace against them but forgot. :p

And I still don't get why Moyes plays Young instead of Januzaj. People say he got a weak team and to a certain extent I agree, but United is not nearly as bad as Moyes is making them out to be. The team plays like shit and from what I saw today their one gameplan was to put in crosses. It's been long enough now where the team should have been playing some cohesive footie at times and not be so low on confidence. It actually looks like they're stagnating, if not getting worse. No leadership at all shown from Moyes, and very sketchy decision making. I'm sure they'll see it to the end of the season with him but they'l probably appoint someone else during the summer.
I actually forgot you were a United fan.

funny thing is man utd fans are so quick to dismiss moyes but it seems more and more evident that with rooney constantly playing himself out of position running back to defend is confusing the others where to play as well, Just re-watching the goals man utd have conceded recently especially against stoke and yesterday against fulham rooney was some what largely to blame. Take the sidwell goal for example, rooney was tracking him back whilst evra was covering the left, rooney gave up the chase and evra had no time to come centrally to intercept.

Im quietly looking forward to a peaceful couple of days at work. The man utd and arsenal lot sitting there twiddling their thumbs as their dreams for this season rapidly slip away :D
We're one point away from the top, theres a big chance we'll be back by Wednesday, I don't think our dreams for this season are slipping away at all, at least not yet, no matter how harsh the Pool thumping was.

I really don't think you'll beat City. :p
Out of that whole post, I am not confident about half the things I said, but I really think we'll beat City at the Emirates. Quote me on this.
