Parker is seemingly on his way out, so I guess Paulinho would be a replacement for (and an enormous upgrade on) him.

Don't know if Villas Boas wants to have a proper defensive midfelder in there in most games or if he is happy to continue without one and just bring in Livermore or Huddlestone occasionally, so Sandro may well be seen as surplus to requirements.

I guess there is a lot of uncertainty around Spurs's plans so long as it is unknown where Bale will be next season.
