I think United is the most likely to not make it. Weakest team I've ever seen and without Fergie there's no way they're nearly as good as last year.
De Gea

Jones-Ferdinand-Vidic-Evra

Valencia-Carrick-Fellaini-?????

Rooney

Van Persie

????? = Nani/Young/Welbeck/Giggs

Something would have to go badly wrong for that team to not finish in the top four.

Vidic and Ferdinand are old and quite frankly I don't see them playing many games. Evra isn't even close to his peak. Valencia is meh imo. Can run but that's it. Imo, they need to utilize Kagawa in order to be more creative and use Rooney as an actual striker. Great signing in Fellaini but even then, they just don't seem that good to me.

Vidic is 31. Not exactly old. It remains to be seen if he'll get back to previous levels but I wouldn't write him off. Rio is 34, vastly experienced but could be rotated out a bit.

Evra is up and down - I'll give you that. I rate Valencia highly as a 4 man midfield winger. Kagawa is pure sex - I don't get why he isn't playing.

I also think they need a massive injury crisis in order to not finish top 4.

I'd play a 4-2-3-1 for width and maybe a 4-3-1-2 at times.

Carrick & Fellaini with Kagawa, Valencia and Rooney behind RVP. Or a three man midfield with Carrick Fellaini and one of Anderson/Fletcher/Cleverly with Kagawa behind RVP and Rooney.
