we need a central midfielder able to be a playmaker and have a good defensive attitude

I like him, but he has no defensive attitude, quite slow and lazy and I doubt it's the type of player we need most after having Pjanic. We need more dynamic hardworking player even if I won't say no to top level playmaking if options were short.

some people claim we'd need Hector Herrera saying he is like a Vidal 1.1 meaning someone who run around and tackle a lot.
