When we sold Pogba I said everything is a question mark as I want to see the whole mercato. And, at the moment, I'm not really optimistic. We're very strong at the moment but our team looks very weird IMO. It seems disbalanced and like we failed to sign somebody, then moved after a different player on a different position. I thought we'd bring in some beast in the middle but I guess not, which makes me worried, as it looks kinda fragile.

What does it matter that it's August 19th?

Last summer we signed Cuadrado, Lemina, Alex Sandro, Hernanes. All of them on August 20th or later.

It's pretty clear that both Beppe and Allegri have said we will sign one more midfielder.

We might, you never know.

But last summer it looked like we had many (good) options. Now, I don't see much. Hopefully we pull some magic that wasn't covered by newspapers. I'd personally hate to see some mid signed who'd be our 5th option.

I'll be very disappointed if we sign some Hernanes type player like Montolivo on the last day of the transfer window.

I know Tanu said his contacts in Vinovo, the Ultras, etc were saying we are going to be signing a midfielder from Germany... someone who hasn't been mentioned in the press this summer with Juve yet.

So we havent signed any midfielder after Pogba left. Sounds familiar. Lets just hope we wont settle down for someone of Hernanes level come September.

What about Kessie from Atalanta? I'd rather go for youth over the other underwhelming names being mentioned. When we brought in Pogba he was a promising midfielder, nothing more, nothing less. Ideally, I'd get rid of Hernanes and Sturaro (if possible) and bring in 2 quality mids.
