Zidane 'tired of James questions’
By Football Espana staff

Zidane was also asked specifically about James Rodriguez, Marco Asensio and Mariano, with James reportedly told he can leave the club.

“James is here. I’m happy with his game and you will always ask the same and I will answer the same. I’m tired of answering but I’m always going to say the same. My answer won’t change,” he noted

#GdS: #Juve have ~€60m to spend after selling:

-> #Pereyra to #Watford [€13m]

-> #Zaza to #Wolfsburg [€25m]

-> #Coman to #Bayern [€21m]

I'd like to remind everyone that football is a team game.

It's impossible to replace players like Pogba or Vidal directly with one player you need the whole team to play differently and learn to use the different strengths in the team. For example in the second part of last season our team worked much better than it did the year before even when we had lost players like Tevez, Pirlo and Vidal.

So we are not trying to replace Pogba with a Matuidi or a Witsel or even with Pjanic. We are building the best team we can without having Pogba in it and most of that happens on the training pitch not in the transfer market.

If Cuadrado is back on loan,i think 70mln will be enough to buy James.

Zaza25+Pereyra15+Coman26+Heranaes 7= 73mln

@Mark can be done?
James is not choosing Juve over an EPL contender like Chelsea though.

If he goes anywhere at all. Zidane quotes sounds like everything is done on their side for the transfer window.

There is a good point hidden in that post.

When Pirlo, left he was substituted by Marchisio. Marchisio was a no-nonsense registra who made fewer mistakes but provided less assists - instead transferring that burden more and more to Pogba and to some extent Khedira.

It will be interesting when Marchisio returns. In the Pirlo era, Marchisio scored a few goals and was always a goal threat. It will be interesting to see whether it is Pjanic who takes that role or Marchisio. Perhaps the 3rd midfielder (aside from Khedira) is more of a no nonsense workhorse or whether that person is more of an attacking player where Pjanic and Marchisio are the deeper players - i.e our 352 is more of a 3142 in reality. Perhaps it becomes more of a 3412. And that is assuming a back 3. In a back 4 we now have players like Pjaca and potentially Cuadrado which again, could focus the attacking impetus further up the field.

Allegri is a good tactician. I am sure he will find a way to bring the best out of the new players he has at his disposal.

I was just thinking about something interesting. At the end of the last campaign, we all said and so did Allegri - I want to keep this team.

As it turns out, this is the turnover:

OUT: Rubinho, Caceres, Pogba, Padoin, Morata, Zaza, Pereyra, Hernanes?
IN: Alves, Pjanic, Benatia, Pjaca, Higuain, MID 1, MID 2

If you add Cuadrado to that figure, around one third of the team is out and replaced with new players.
