To lose Pogba, Perreyra and Asamoah in one window while holding on to Hernanes, is just a dumb as fuck move. We need to hold on to Asa, and try and get rid of Hernanes instead, coz clearly the CM market is pretty static this summer, despite Pogba moving, there has been no real domino effect, because most teams have that position locked down. We would just be in precarious territory if we give up Asa now.

Exchanging a CM for an RM/RWB would be suicide, even if Cuadrado is a better player than Asa. We would literally be thin as ice in midfield and just have a bunch of attackers and weaklings in midfield. Fukk that.

We have improved our team in recent years there is no doubt about it but its really annoying that the heart of the team which is the midfield - The most important part of a team has been weakened!
Marchisio Pirlo Pogba Vidal -> Pjanic Marchisio Khedira - I mean we had 3 of the best midfielders in their roles in Pirlo Pogba and Vidal and now we have Pjanic who is great but he is no Pogba while Khedira isnt as good as Vidal while he is also injured a lot
I think we need 2 really strong midfielders in order to be as great again (in midfield)
Pogba`s loss will be felt greatly against the big sides! our midfield domination will decrease greatly but in the other hand our counter attacks should be stronger now (especially if we get Cuadrado)...

I'm expecting our management to handle the situation well. Whether that needs a big signing or not is up to them. We replaced Vidal and Pirlo smoothly if we don't count the rough injury decimated start. I'm confident we can replace Pogba and we already upgraded every other line of the team.

No,you have a point here.Yaya is in serious conflict with Pep since Barcelona days. Yeterday he wasn't at the bench against Steaua.If our managers can get a bargain to him I will go with both hands for Toure.He has at least two years of game in his legs.The thing with City is that all their players, when signing a contract,they have a clause of loyalty means that if they respect the full length of the contract they get some extra cash which is by no means a small amount.That's why no one want's to leave City.That might be a problem.

Both Biglia and Marchisio are very good defensively. Where it lacks is dynamism going forward but it's not like other top teams have always had that either (Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta for example).

It could maybe give us the option to go for a 4-3-3 with Pjaca on the left as rotational formation

Or use the 442 Allegri played at some point.
