    It Was 4 -3-1-2

That was one game against Real Madrid, we clearly played a 4-4-2 with Nedved and Camoranesi as wingers with Del Piero-Trezeguet up front for some time. Nedved did increasingly get into central positions but that's because he came off his wing a lot, it was fluid.

    No, it was 4-4-2.
Lippi said a while ago that Nedved and Davids were incompatible for 4-4-2 and he had to change formation to 4-3-1-2 with Nedved playing more as AM somewhere around Christmas of 2001.

I'm not quite sure how a Mercato that has included taking arguably the two best players from your league rivals, adding a WC player for free, getting a young and exciting prospect, and a defender who, if healthy, is as good as any of our starters, while also breaking the transfer record for the sale of a player as "underwhelming".

That is all I read. How underwhelming this mercato has been. Are you kidding me? This is the most exciting mercato I've seen since 2004.

We need one more midfielder though
    "arguably"? :D

It's all about the chronological order imo..Say we sold Pogba in early June and then made all our aforementioned moves: Tuz server down for 2 months

Di Marzio mentions Brozovic,, no contacts made yet but Shinter are willing to sell for the right offer. I don't mind for 20-25 he's a good midfielder and at least he's 23

Just remembered they have Oscar too. Wasnt he a Conte favorite when he was still here? And he said they will play with a 2 man midfield. And he convinced Matic to stay. And he signed Kante...

    Kante/Lotus-Matic/Mikel
    Cuadrado/Pedro-Willian/Oscar-Hazard/Moses

+ Traore, Kennedy which I have no idea what position they play

Beppe forcing Conte to promise Matic to play to make Fabregas unhappy :beppe:

4-3-1-2 is just not gonna happen.

    A weaker defence.
    A weaker midfield (defensively).
Not making the best use of our attacking fullbacks. Will restrain their runs and limit our width
A waste when you have 5 top CBs
It's redundant when you have Dybala and Pjanic who provide that central creativity
