Sure, everything is totally different for Juve. Keep telling that to urself that everthing is no prob and laughing about Dortmund at the same time. We ll see how Juve and Dortmund r going to play with these changes, but I dont see big problems for both of them.

I say that Dortmund wont be worse than before and that they had a great transfer market and that the team ll challenge for the title and surprise some in Europe. I would have pushed more for Toprak and pay the extra 5m€ though and not waiting until next summer. Another creative midfielder wouldnt be bad either.

How do you actually rate our mercato? I also think that Dortmund will be as strong as ever with the new buys. We are having similar problem as them with keeping the best player but with a lesser extend as we dominate domestically.

Calma, no need to be so sensitive. I'm not laughing at Dortmund at all they still have a great squad but they have lost some important experienced players and replaced them with inexperienced yet talented players so it's a wait and see scenario. While we have lost some very good players also like Morata and Pogba we have brought in experienced quality in terms of replacements.

Dortmund did become worse? I disagree tbh. They got rid of overrated cripple Gundogan and reinvested that money smart. Got a number of promising players for both defense and attack and impact players like Götze. Hummels wasn't all that and Gündogan has never been anything.

The difference is that while we have actually improved this summer Dortmund has gone the other way and become worse than they were at the start of the summer.

The other difference is that Juve are the big bullies of Serie A. We just signed two of the best players in the league. Whereas Dortmund are Bayerns bitch.

That is because I think our mercato is 90% done. Zaza is probably going to be sold (which I think is close to being announced). Only thing left would be a new mid. However, Matic, Witsel etc are quickly disappearing. In that case, I would advocate NO CHANGE rather than purchasing an average player for a lot of money. Would rather keep Marrone and see what Allegri can do with him as a mid.

Also if Zaza is sold, I am also not 100% sure we would still go for Gabigol. A number of clubs are after him and I think he would still be 5th choice here.

This. Beside if we don't win the league and reach at least Semifinal in UCL our season would be bad for a lot of us. If Dortmund get to the semifinal in UCL it would be a complete success for almost everyone

Are people failing to realize that Dortmund had an almost identical mercato to ours last summer?

They lost a few of their best players, and bought some young high-potential players and a couple more experienced options, lowering the average age of their squad.

I'd say it was a pretty good mercato, just like ours last summer ended up being... Of course this depends on how those young players develop...
