I watched enough to know Alves isnt such of an improvement over Cuadrado!
Does Alves has a bigger rep? Yes! Does it makes him better? Nope
They are both very good with their own style Alves is smarter and is more of straight to the point while Cuadrado is more fancy and flair sometimes he runs like a headless chicken but sometimes his runs could make the difference!

Is Alves the better player two years ago I`d say yes but right now I think they both offer different things!
We lose a player who can dribble past a player and create that thing out of nothing but we get a smarter player who is a better team player and without those times we really need a spark from someone is definitely the better choice!

Id pick Cuad over Alves because of his age and the fact that Cuad can get us points sometimes when all seems lost as his individual strength is much better than Alves! (Alves is a much better team player btw...)

I don't think everybody can be a Pirlo. An actual defensive player as DM could be nice. And having Panic as regista would be a waste of his nice shots.
