if we lack something, doesent necessarily mean we need it. Barcelona or Real never had a Vidal in their midfield last 5-6 years and they were perfectly fine. Khedira is one of our 3 best CMs currently and it doesent seem we are getting a better one at the moment. so he starts

He is extremely good. Its a team sport, not everybody has to be WC to be competitive in the CL.

Alves can play RB this is true but Alves has been great in the last decade but he is declining and over his peak while Cuadrado is faster younger and I personally would rather have him than Alves if the position that is questioned isnt RB!

Looks quite underwhelming compared to what we're used to, let's be honest

IMO at full health we're fine. Especially if we add another mid. The issue is that Marchisio is hurt for a bit of time, and probably will take time to adjust, and Khedira is injury prone. If we add one good CM, I think we will be fine. My biggest problem is we keep overhauling our team. Cuadrado should be back, but he isn't and I don't know why.
