Matuidi is better than the likes of Gustavo, Sissoko, and Witsel. I would have still preferred us to go for Matic and bring in someone like Kovacic. What about Goretzka? Super talented German player with huge potential. Might be worth investing 40+ million on.

As things stand, we lose Pirlo, Pogba, Vidal, Coman, Tevez, Morata, and Cuadrado. 7 players in 2 seasons, and most of them are top quality.
I swear to God I remember you polluting his thread after every match begging Allegri not to play him as he's slower than a turtle.

And replaced them with Higuain, Dybala, Alves, Khedira, Benatia, Pjanic, Alex Sandro, and Pjaca

3 of those players we lost weren't even considered starters, although Morata and Cuadrado got significant minutes

Edit- I forgot Rugani as well. And Mandzukic. What the fuck is wrong with me today :howler:

Hernanes, we won't talk about.

Can you PLS update us? Have you heard anything?
Have been busy resigning after 14 years at my Bank and starting off as an indipendent financial consultant in the last couple of weeks...
Not many news except that POGBA chances of staying are close to nothing

my life is ruined

and congrats on the changes in your life!

Can you offer more detail about why this is happening, if Pogba wants out, etc?

It seems like you're saying the deal isn't agreed upon yet!

Indeed. I was, as you so eloquently put it, polluting Pirlo's match thread in his final days here, but he was/is still a champion.

I mention his name out of necessity and respect for the player and the man, and just to put things into perspective. We have lost a lot of quality, especially in midfield, over the past couple of seasons. Granted, we have brought in some very interesting and exciting players, but it still doesn't detract from the fact that we lost some great players. I hope this trend stops.

Thanks mate!
As far as POGBA is concerned, in the end all parties involved agreed they had something to earn from the deal ...

Khedira is quality, when fit. He is too injury prone. I still think he is a downgrade to someone like Vidal. Pjanic is a great player, but he can be inconsistent at times. He is very creative and talented, but he is still a downgrade on Pogba. Dybala is awesome. Higuain is a great signing, but not for 90 million. Pjaca is a player I am very keen on, and will definitely be monitoring his progress closely. A young and explosive talent. Alves brings much needed experience, and Alex Sandro is only going to get better. Beast player. As for Benatia, I don't really think he was totally necessary, but I rate him highly, and I hope he manages to stay injury free.
