So let me get something straight, if we are so close to Higuain and we pull out at the end, some members here are saying that we have disrupted the harmony at Napoli at the least and it is still a win. Does that not work in the same way that if Pogba stays after all this drama that the harmony is disrupted at our team too?
Totally different cases TBH.

No one here will burn Pogba's shirt if he will leave.

No.

Pogba is a young lad and a great talent, but not a cornerstone of this team. He's not a leading figure. He's a player who wakes up in december and then starts to add to the team. We dont really depend on 1 person, tho without Bonucci we seemb extremely bad (remember that footage of the banter the players had after the coppa final, 'and here comes bonucci who only thinks of himself. "yeah i saw how you played without me'.
If we sell him, its to some foreign money cash ho's.

Higuain on the other hand, is THE main guy at Napoli, that carried the team, and he agreed to go to the biggest rival (we have none) in italy

Pögba leaving will make less of a dent then when Vidal or Pirlo left.

Higuain.... i cant immediatly recall a situation equally bad

@Zach

Around the same age as Pogba when he arrived. Tielmans has many more appearances than Paul did as well, both domestically and in CL.
Yes but Pogba exploded as soon as he got games in a big difficult league
Tielemans is 3 years in a crappy league, and has not noticably improved. He's still a kid. Nothing close to the calm, confidence and mental resilience Pogba was showcasing.µ

Now i do like Tielemans. But if he comes, its a Lemina or Coman type of signing.

In FM terminology, Pirlo's best position was DM with role as Regista. That's how I would use Verratti, even though that's not where he plays in PSG. Edit. Verratti contributes way more in defense than Pirlo. Maybe even more than Pogba.
Agreed. Solid use of Verratti.

Because he's a world class DM.

Also, you stole my name :p
Did I? Haha, how so?

Question is, what's so important about disrupting things at Napoli that we pay close to 100m for? :D

This is honestly such a stupid move i can't digest, but i'm Higuain's fan so let's hope he'll deliver, BIG time.
