In a rational world there is no way Higuain would go for his clause value. He is 29, he wants to leave, he only has 2 years on his contract. This is the summer for Napoli to sell.

But is ADL ever rational, especially when Juve are involved?

Buffon
Barzagli/Benatia-Bonucci-Chiellini
Alves-Khedira/Marchisio-Pjanic-Pogba-Alex Sandro
Dybala-Higuain

RIP Serie A, RIP CL
And when Higuain gets suspended or injured for a few games, we be like: Oh noes! Oh noes!

Then we remember we can just throw on Mandzukic

Damn this squad would be amazing. But I just can't believe it

Nah I'm not buying any of this lol, what rubbish. They'd sooner throw the guy into Vesuvius. It would be like Diego Maradona wearing a Juve jersey riding on the back of ADL's moped through Scampìa.

Dybala was the marquee signing at the low 30ties.

So would Pjanic have been, its been characteristic for us to get a low30ties mil signing

Higuain would cost 4 times as much, whilst we allready have purchased Pjanic.
Correct me if I am wrong, but including bonuses didn't Dybi now turn out to cost 40m? Which is in installments(Marotta special). And now pjanic was 32m, and we activated his clause, FIFA rules demand we pay it in one payment(uncharacteristic of Marotta deals).

And before Dybi I don't recall Marotta ever spending more than 20m for a player which was Morata.
