This gabigol rumor is such bull$#@!. No way he'll only cost 20m and no way Juve is actually interested. Where's he going to play? A team with CL aspirations is not gonna go out of it's way to make room for a 19 year old.

Dimarzio fell off so fast.
Exactly.

So Icardi's wife and agent says we officially offered 50m for him.

How do you guys rate him ?
Can it be true?.

Ill be honest. If Zaza is also gone after morata...we need someone like him to finish our plays. He has a good eye for goals, and altought a bit limited overall, we can made up for that with the amount of creativity we will have from other sources. Mandz alone will not eb able to carry us on all fronts obvs, so he would be an excellent alternative to him. Someone who doesnt offer much pressing or inventive, butis always a treat in the box. thats what we need.

But then..he is Icardi..and theres all that personal background , on top of that being the best Inter player.

Its a mess.

But i can see us making this guy work..unlike someone like Balotelli for example, who is fuked up beyond repair.

On footballing level I could care less about his personal life (tho he is a douche for that incident) since it doesn't effect his football. Only thing I care about is that he is a limited poacher, very effective one but limited. Offers nothing but finishing.

I rather sign most other options over him for that reason. Even Lukaku offers more in general play.
While i agree with is contribution....we need to be aware that what this Juve team has needed since aeons, is a constant goalscorer CF. Before we had tevez, but he played as an SS, and now we have Dybala, another SS. I dont count Mandz as one because he is not a bomber but has another traits which helps the team so much. Icardi on the other hand cannot help the team like Mandz does , not even close....but the guy knows how to score and could be a very nice variant to him.

Footballing wise it would be a great deal... but there are so many buts and ifs to see that happen. I seem this unlikely.

According to giroud's agent he is open to a move to Napoli opening the door for el pipita to go to arsenal.

Which means.... :tuttosport:
naa.

He would be infinitely expensive...even if he pushes for a move to us. DL would be obliged to sell him to us at premium price. 1- To save face and 2- Because they will need to buy a replacement.

how come dybala isn't even in top 5 conversion rates while being the 2nd top scorer and starting in less than 30 games???
Think he has always had a pretty bad conversion rate, even before joining Juve. Crazy to think how much more he would score if he improved his right foot and finishing. It's a bit fishy though, not sure where those stats are from

Because we play with 2 strikers, a limited poacher isn't a bad thing as long as he can at least put in a shift, and not recycle possession too much.

Yeh, we worked with Trezeguet, who was limited as fuk, but it doesnt mattered because he was world class doing his only assigment which was to score goals...while Dp and the others put the creative side.

Now i think we can do even better with our current team.

According to Brazilian media outlet 'Lancenet!', Gabigol agrees to join Juventus now, but Santos deem Juventus' first offer low.
If thats the source:

http://www.lance.com.br/santos/proposta-milhoes-trava-renovacao-gabigol-com.html

Then - if i understand it correctly - it says at the end of the article that he has a release clause set at 18 million € in the current contract, so if he doesn't renew getting him could be quite realistic, if he really wants to join Juve. But he isn't fully owned by Santos, so that could complicate things possibly.

Buying Higuain doesn't fit our philosophy. It would be buying a player at the absolute peak of their value with assuredly no chance to appreciate as an asset.

It would be wiser to get our Morata replacement next, as we already got out Pogba replacement on Pjanic and Marotta jas proven that he can easily find CMs anytime, even at x-mas, yet he strugles to find quality finishers.
Its really alarming to see that we dont have a realistic plan for the Morata replacement and yet there are more probable CM options...

it does fit the philosophy of a team trying to win the Champions League next year thought. He could be the missing piece to our puzzle, a player that could score a boat load of goals and has CL experience.
