Well, my sarcasm detector failed me.

My apologies. :D

80% chance o f him leaving was a bit high, don't you think? 20% would have been more appropriate.
80% Chance of increasing wages or leave and 20% of staying on the same wages

Would be the accurate stateme,nt

Tevez was a bargain for his off-fields issues (and eventually cost us). Alexis is a proven champions, in his prime, just become Copa America Champion for second time in a row. He is the kind of player that put your team in the next level. I prefer to invest 50m in Alexis that in any brazilian forward or Andre Gomez, etc

at the moment I wrote the news, he was very prone to sign with City. I don't know if he was acting just to get an increase, but my mate was sure he'd be going from what he heard in Turin that day from the usual sources of these kind of rumours (estate agents, restaurant man, procuratori, other players, various staff etc)

What you mean is that his agent was doing alot of talks and stuff and make it genuinly appear he was totally considering it...

...so he can get his final massive contract

It was obvious that he was after a better contract and I was sure we would give him that, that's why I never even considered his departure.

Unless Fab is really hard for him...
Buying this South American promises has become a shady ordeal, with multiple owners, rogue agents, 3rd division Uruguayan clubs, aunts, grandma, you name it.

It is unbelievable the amount of hype for Brazil, Argentina and lately Colombian players from the media here in South America.

Even some of the journalists own the rights of some players. It is a multimillion dollar business and everybody wants a piece of the action.

Now a Brazilian kid scores 10 goals in the brasilerao and he is the next Romario or a argie kid scores a hat trick in a derby he is the next messi.
