We are loaning a wide forward who was absolutely killing spain's entire left side to sassuolo ?

Watch the Croatia - Spain game again, and come argue with me that he was actually the best player in the game.

Seriously, this guy is the thing i'm remembering the most from these euro's. So sad Croatia went out this early
I missed every croatia game for different reasons which is sad because they were my favourite team to win after Ireland. I only heard of this player today and when i checked his wikipedia page it never mentioned him playing at the Euros so i assumed he hadn't thats why i asked.

I just have to trust you guys and watch more videos. The low price and fact inter want him make me doubt his ability but make the deal more appealing. If he comes as well as another top forward then thats great.

Its fascinating to read so often about his so-called 'limitations'. It was funny to read it on RedCafe for a while, so that they convince themselves they didnt do anything wrong with selling him for peanuts. I think he is perfectly suited to a modern high pressing game..being the speerhead of the defense. He is running his socks off and giving everything..always. He has an eye for goal and has a good shot. His technique isnt on the level of Lewandowski or Dybala, but he is no Gomez either. I would say he is a great striker and perfectly suited for Leverkusen..a match made in heaven. They ll fight tooth and nail to keep him, as its not easy to find a player like him again for a club like Leverkusen. He is gold for their PR too.
It's not a coincidence that every top team in the world these days try to have well rounded strikers. Look at Inter with Icardi. He's so limited that their attack suffers because of it, despite the fact he's one of the best finishers around. I don't think he's any more rounded than Chicharito. At least Mandzukic and Zaza have amazing work-rate to negate their lack of all round skills

position, age, skills. now he's the morata of 2 years ago. i hope we manage to get him.
He is more of a winger then forward, and I age thing is nothing but mainly asked about skills part. What makes so many here sold on him quite suddenly?

He seems promising after handful CL ties I seen him in and couple euro games, but it's nothing dazzling to suggest this overly excited expectations for him. I get it if it was coming from Croats who seen him plenty, but random posters here going gaga after coming good runs in short sub appearances seems bit much.

Would be massively disappointing if this winger (not even a ST/SS) is our Morata replacement. We need established quality to help us win this fucking CL.

Don't think we'll go for another CF. I don't think people are calling him a Morata replacement or similar to Morata per se but he offers the qualities which Morata bought to the table aka pace, ball carrying attributes, dribbling etc. With Morata and possibly Cuadrado gone, we need someone of that ilk. Someone who can come off the bench and make an impact with his liveliness.

He was the standout talent. Spain couldnt handle him. He had skill, tricks, speed and stamina

Pjaca could be great but he could also be a flop. Look how good Giach looks at these Euros.
He wasent so different at juve. He just ran more head on into defenders when dribbeling

The Morata replacement is going to be a huge disappointment I'm afraid... Thought so at the beginning and with the names circling around I can only continue to think that. We're downgrading here.

as far as i remember, morata often played as a left winger off the bench for real. allegri made him that unique ss/cf combo he is.

any player within our reach will be a downgrade on morata, that's a fact. i just have a feeling this guy has plenty of potential, and as zach wrote, he was brilliant against spain, so he's already got the balls and skills to play fine against some big boys, too. with morata and cuadrado gone, we do need some pacey players, and he's certainly one.
