Reading the Leicester Mercury the other day and an article about the possible sale of Kante indicated that probably the only way that Ranieri would let him leave was the negotiate Lemina into a swap.
I think there is a growing awareness, certainly across Europe, that Lemina has the potential to establish himself as a top international class player in the next 2 seasons.
Should a deal like this go ahead, I would be sad to lose him but would recognize that Kante (albeit a different, more defensive player) is going to mature into a truly international/world class player that would add more depth and strength to our squad.
The only potential blot on the landscape is the ongoing rumours linking Paul Pogba to English clubs, the latest this morning being headlines on the back page of the Daily Star quoting Manchester United and a bid of €95m or £80m. That and the real need to spend heavily on a top class striker to replace Morata.
