We are repeatedly linked with this guy, anything serious? Also anyone know him? Only noticed twice in big games I think, where he was subbed in or random start. Not much to say, considering defensive Atletico players tend to hide well in their strong organizational play.
I remember watching him for 10 min in a game, and he immediately called my attention. Really, I dont know why, but he absolutely looked like a real deal. Left footed CB who can play LB. Strong, very agile and quick, very aggressive, and apparently technical. Can't think of a better heir to Chiellini.

But no way we poach him without assuring playing time for the guy.

I think, 32 million upfront is a lot.
Proof please. Quotes or reliable sources stating that. Dont cite Juventus.com or Roma.com because details are undisclosed.

Morata cash was upfront too?
If we made a single payment, Roma were to receive €30.4M if im correct. For what purpose would we pay them an extra few million then?

we'll have to wait for the annual financial shit and see that maybe it is in instalments and didn't say it before in case roma fans would riot. :p

The only thing we know is Roma were desperately for cash. They dint have the leverage to say pay single installment clause or GTFO. For me its very possible there was a negotiation between both clubs which dint come out in the open.
Look at the amount of money Roma is committing on their transfers this summer. Th

instalments or no, still a great deal. Much better than Arsenal and 50m on Xhaka.
