It does mean something. 100%. If only that it means he is a "late bloomer".. You just contradicted yourself in your own statement.

Felipe Melo had 1 great season at Viola too (at 25 as well :D ). Turned out it was just 1 great season.

There's a reason big teams are wary of players in their mid-20s who have had just a single good season.

No one is saying he won't turn into a world-class midfielder, or that he wouldn't be a good buy for 25 mil... but people acting like he's already world-class, or that he's the answer to Juve's problems... or that he's some kind of great all-around midfielder... he's had 1 great season. That's it. And he's shown to be quite one-dimensional at that. His passing and ball-skills are atrocious right now.
True he is one dimensional but we just need our own gatuso to get the ball and give it to pogba or pjanic.

Osman help me out here. We have some naysayers :D
Meh, why bother, had this same topic beaten to death couple months back (plus PI said most I would said in latter posts). If some don't rate him, let them, arguing about it just makes them become more anti and hyperbolic in turn.

As I said, I would take him in a heartbeat... it'd be foolish not to. And he is far more established than Lemina currently. Although I would be sad to lose Lemina, and would much prefer to keep him too, while cutting loose the real dead wood in Hernanes, Asamoah, Pereyra...

There isn't really an argument to be made against wanting Kante at a reasonably cheap price of 25 mil.

Is it because Sissoko, and now Kante are... what did Zach call it... obedient...? :snoop:
Don't even joke about that dumb shit.

And Momo was a warrior, but he only showed a glimpse of what Kante did past season in few months at his best in Liverpool (ate Barcelona and Chelsea midfields for breakfast). The kind of insane interceptions Kante does reminds me only of early Vidal, that is if he is unleashed and isn't used as holding mid as France seems to use him.

alright mister knows it all, feel free to tell me why Kante will be so great in the future.
Your Nocerino comment is great example of ridiculous hyperbole.

Only judge what I see. Kante has been performing like a great ball winner, a clever one who covers ground like very few do right now. He excells greatly at what he does, we could use that kind of player for sure, especially in CL where player like this would dominate most opponents. Especially when price is doable. 25m in today's market is bargain for young upcoming mid in top form.

Juventus are eyeing Atletico Madrid defender Lucas Hernandez.

Marca says after failing in their efforts to convince Barcelona to part with Javier Mascherano, La Vecchia Signora are planning to trigger Hernandez's €21 million release clause.

Juve coach Massimo Allegri is keen to add the France Under-20 international's versatility to his defensive ranks, where compatriot Patrice Evra currently plies his trade.

Hernandez has also been linked with Arsenal in recent weeks.

New Chelsea boss Antonio Conte was key to their swoop for Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi on Tuesday.

Chelsea had a bid of €40 million accepted by OM after the Belgian had given his approval to the deal.

TMW says Batshuayi was expecting to join Juventus after the Euros - before Conte's intervention.

On Monday, in Paris, Conte's minders held talks with Batshuayi's agents over a dinner meeting for several hours.

And despite their lack of Champions League football, the Belgian agreed to join Chelsea ahead of Juve after learning of Conte's plans.

Chelsea had a doctor fly to Bordeaux on Wednesday to hold a medical for the player as negotiations reached their conclusion.

We are repeatedly linked with this guy, anything serious? Also anyone know him? Only noticed twice in big games I think, where he was subbed in or random start. Not much to say, considering defensive Atletico players tend to hide well in their strong organizational play.

Only saw him when they were playing Barca in the semi's. But hard to judge since he has Godin to show him the way and like you said as well, how Atletico does well with their strong organizational play.
