That's not modern football tactical knowledge or whatever the fuck you call it. That's kiddie videogame bullshit. The frickin numbers like 4-4-2, 3-5-2, 4-3-3 or whatever don't mean that much in real life. The same formation on paper can be completely different on the field when executed by other players. Additionally, the paper/starting formation is changing dynamically all the time.

For example in 2015/16 we were defending almost exclusively with a 4-4-2 formation and in attack we played mostly something similar to a 4-2-3-1 formation, so basically what you are demanding. Allegri's 3-5-2 ist completely different to Conte's 5-3-2/3-5-2 (which seemed sometimes a little bit coward-like especially in Champions League).

Yeah and offensively he's completely done. He has been poor offensively all season but his crossing was even worse than usual at the euro. He's never been great offensively but he used to make assists and some nice runs. Not anymore.

Very good move! Please, together with Darmian/De Sciglio.

What I have seen from Pelle this EK suits me. He is not the best pure striker, but he can hold the ball very well, together with some good passing and headers. With a fast partner like Dybala next to him, he could be a good addition to our squad. Of course, we still need a main striker then.

And let's be honest, some Italian players in the Juventus squad won't hurt. We have to hold up the name of Azzurri Juve !
