Mascherano pushes for Juve
Javier Mascherano is 'fed up’ with #Barcelona and will ask for a transfer to #Juventus, according to Sport newspaper.
The situation is on the front page of today’s edition of the Catalan publication.
In its exclusive, it claims Mascherano feels 'deceived’ by promises that were not kept and told the club four months ago that he was unhappy.
His last hope is to have a meeting with Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartomeu after the Copa America for #Argentina.
Luis Enrique will try to convince the Argentine to remain at Camp Nou, but doesn’t hold out much hope.
Juventus already have a deal for Dani Alves, who is a free agent, but #FCBarcelona are demanding €20m for Mascherano.
One of the main reasons he would relish a move to Turin is that they’d allow him to play as a midfielder again after Barcelona transformed him into a centre-back.

I do not know what will happen.
But i just can guess. Based on what marotta said that we will not sell pogna + la stampa reports we still want gomes. marotta want to take more risk.
Sign pjanic, gomes and extend pogba's contract and keep him for two years.
If we turn into european giant, we will keep him longer.
If that effort does not turn us into it, we will sell him in 2018.
But it just guessing.

It's not really that difficult. Juve needs at least two new mids. An attacking one (pjanic) and another one to cover for marchisio but ideally can also slide in for khedira when he inevitably gets hurt again. Lemina and Sturaro are cool but I wouldn't consider either one as proven. Were trying to win a CL here, no time to play around.
Pereyra is probably gone. Maybe Asamoah too but I hope they keep him around. Can't see anyone paying 20m for him, sorry.

Krychowiak - I must admit I havent watched him much but he seems like a great defensive player while his attacking game isnt too much there
Do we want a player who can just defend? Dont we want someone who can be more well rounded
Kante for example his duty is basically defend but he is kind of an engine so he does has an extra on his side (Kante is an example doesnt has to be him...)

Is he still likely to join us or are there different alternatives that are more likely to join us in coming days and weeks?
On our defence, A German friend of mine has emailed me with news that there are numerous reports of advanced negotiations between Juve and Bayern for Benatia. There has been very little of this in the Italian media from what i've seen.
Any enlightenment welcome.
