Couple of factors to take into account:

What would we be making fiscally from the sale? (including freeing of wages)

Is lichtsteiner a wanted player? What's his value in the market?

Selling licht means you're left with 1 fullback on the right side, who himself is a new signing and 30+. Is that wise?

Is Cuadrado staying?

Is selling licht necessary to free up a spot and wages for a guaranteed arrival?

That being said, unless a huge offer comes in (huge for a 30+ player), I think it would be against our interest to sell.

If we cant have a proper replacement for him, he should not be sold of course.

Not that im dying to see Licht play game in game out... on the contrary....but if we lose cuadrado (very likely)....we will be just with alves?.. madness!.

Licht has proven to be at least realiable when calle dupon in the last 2 seasons. He is not the dynamo he was in the first 2 seasons but gets the job done.

After we fix the midfield and have all our pieces set, we can see if a nice prospect appears...but i dont think we will sell licht anmyways.

IMO a duo Cuadrado/Alves would be terrible idea. I chose JGC/Litch or Alves/Litch, for instante we are beating Farca 2-0 in next UCL final at 85'. Farca is going forward like a headless chicken for the miracle, lets bring Litch and he would kill Ney and Alba in a bit

Yes, Evra/Alex Sandro and Alves/Licht are perfect balance.

Except that Neymar run circles around him the last time we played. Lichtsteiner is still a valuable member of this team but he has declined over the last few years and I wouldn t mind if we start looking for his replacement.

Know how? Or Ni Hao?

The way things are shaping up, could we be looking at a mercsto like this..

Alves, Benatia, Kovacic, Berardi and one of Pjanic/Goetze?

Out:

Morata, Cuadrado, Asamoah, Neto, Hernanes/Perreyra and maybe Licht in which case we may buy another RB like Widmer.

It wasn't like that. We started really nervous and unbalance, the first goal It was almost half Farca in the right
