FI reporting Berardi will be Morata`s replacement
I really hope its just a bad joke!
Don't worry with the progress of Dybala and Mandzu staying more healthy and being more settled in + whatever Berardi can provide we should be more than fine.

The real worry should be the midfield. We needed a vice-marchisio already and now marchisio is injured for a long time. We are going to have to buy one or two midfielders of a high level to improve on this season's midfield and that could be tricky with City, UTD and Chelsea all shopping for midfielders.

Would anyone be interested in getting swcheinsteiger? He is only 31 and I think can be revitalized.

i told you. watch and see.

Do you remember the board convincing zaza not to go away?...well surely they promised him more playing time by making hmi and mandzukic our CFs. Buying berardi who will be an alternative to dybala, not morata and its done dealio in the forward department.

the big bucks will be splashed on mid most likely..and maybe on defence to fill some holes.
Agree we will buy someone like Pjanic or Andre Gomes then and prolly RB and thats it. Is it so bad? I dont think so, but what worries me is the lack of Cuadrado who always gave us extra attacking options.
Regarding Morata if he will leave I dont buy the story that it was against his will, if he leaves he surely gives his ok to it.

If Real will really buy Morata back I think we should do all we can to convince them to sell James to us. I don't see the need for a direct Morata replacement as Berardi and Zaza would be enough cover for our starting strikers. In reality I think we will end up buying Berardi, Gomes or someone similar, De Sciglio, fifth choice CB and hopefully someone to cover Marchisio's position.

We will swap Asamoah with Cuadrado too
I wouldn't mind that but don't see the need for De Sciglio then unless Allegri thinks he could play in a three man defence.

We are monitoring Il Nuovo Morata,Borja Mayoral,Castilla product but has a contract until 2021.

Another buyback clause incoming? :beppe:
If he's good enough to be a back up why not.

We have a verbal agreement with Chelsea to buy Cuadrado for €20M according to CDS but it doesnt seem Beppe wants to spend cash on him.

If Morata wants to go, I wouldn't grieve about that for too long. Yes he's massively talented but Allegri doesn't even consider him a starter and with Berardi on the horizon we are armed to replace him in no time.

Replacing Cuadrado in a 3-5-2 is a more difficult matter if you ask me. We need that flopping Colombian dancer to stay with us at all costs.

What does Beppe want to spend on him, Panini stickers?

BS rumour if you ask me, if he's available we will buy him.

James will go for 80m + no way we can afford him. PSG and the others will be in for him.
For me our starting attacking duo is not enough, Dybala still isnt as consistent as he should be and Mandzu is just not good enough for CL title contenders.

Agree with the James part, disagree with the Dybala and Mandzu part (Bayern?).

Yeah I might be wrong on the second part, but I just dont feel that he is such a goal machine as he was back then and I doubt he will ever produce season like that. But of course that just my opinion and if Beppe and Max thinks otherwise then so be it.

I don't think we need Mandzu to be a goalscoring machine. He just needs to bully the defenders to give Dybala room to do his things and offer good linkup play. These are the reasons why Allegri prefers him over Morata at the moment and I totally understand it.
