I really hope we have an established player lined up if Morata leaves. It doesnt have to be the same position at all but we need an established player to fill the gap.

Seeing this midfield crisis we have, perhaps the board would be more inclined to sell Morata and plug the gaps with a quality midfielder or two.We cant have it all you know.

Pjanic + Berardi ?
I think we will invest that money on 2 midfielders.

Our forwards next season will be Mandzukic and Zza. berardi will be borught as a back up for dybala...and then we will see how he evolves.

But the bulk of the money will go into fixing the midfield which is a mess outside of our starters

I think its pretty clear now that Morata is leaving and Berardi will be his replacement. It was expected that one of Zaza, Morata or Mandzu will leave as 3 CFs was too much. For the midfield Im really hoping we can get Pjanic, who seems to be the best option for us.
Cuadrado also should be replaced with someone on his level, but the only one who I can think of is Bruno Peres, if he would come I would totally forgot about Juan. There also might be one reason why we are not after attacking minded RWB, which is Alex Sandro. This season Allegri didnt really like to play Alex with Cuads because he prolly sees them both as attacking players. This season I expect Alex to start majority of the games with Evra only beign sub so maybe Max doesnt see the need for the attacking minded RWB and Vrsajlko suits his tactics.

Mandzukic is trash anyway, maybe got another year or 2 left wit us
Mandzukic is a hardworking striker who has scored and won trophies wherever he played. His style isn't great to look at and he'll never be our best forward, but he's definitely a useful asset.

Its not clear AT ALL. Nothing from the press or from what is coming from Morata, Juve, or Real Madrid is definitive at this point. The press every day has conflicting ideas on just about anything. We even don't know for sure if Zidane will be Real's coach next year (if he loses Champions League). We also don't know for sure if Arsenal really did bid 60m for him, and we also have no idea if Morata wants to go to Arsenal.

My view is that >80% chance Morata is playing for either Real Madrid or Juventus next year. The 20% chance depends on whether a 3rd party club is willing to offer >50-60m for Morata and Morata wants to go there as first choice.

Nothing is clear.

The most accurate thing we know is that Marotta said: "We will know within the next 2 weeks - i.e after the champions league final when we sit down with Real Madrid". That is the best thing we have to go on at this point. Marotta also mentioned that he would consider paying an additional fee to RM to cancel the buy out.
