Until now if anyone asked about me about my feelings on the mercato i would tell them i was calm and had 100 % trust in management.

The latter still stands, but i'm sure i can keep myself away from getting carried a little away once in a while. Stupid sporting media... I mean, with all these James rumours you can't help to think 'what if'. I would have never expected a signing like that, and i still don't - as far as i am concerned are chances for landing those type of signings aren't big and it would depend a lot of the player wanting Juve rather than some of the PL clubs. I just get so excited because i know The Great Man and his crew will puzzle together a nice squad no matter how many bumps we face on the road and i can't wait to find out how our team will look like next season. But having to deal with all these James, Pastore, Cavani stories can be a little frustrating...

Someone, tell me to get over with it and be happy for Saponara, Biglia and Vrsajlko who will all play their role in our CL triumph next year :ghey:

If we sign Pjanic,he'll be a guaranteed starter here nevermind the formation.
Well i totally agree, the guy is class. Brilliant player. But i wonder if he for the price of 38 million € would be an optimal aquisition if we are looking for an AM. He is a bit stationary and likes to dictate the game, but i see our midfield three completely capable of this and wonder if a type that floats more and excels in creating chances on the counter and with movements that allows him to enter the box more frequently would be a better fit.

Pjanic could play most positions on our midfield though, he would work brilliantly with whoever of our current midfielders we would pair him with. But we do not have unlimited funds, and IF we go for him, would we have enough dough to add another great player?

On the other hand, having him on the ball in front of opposing defense would allow Khedira to do even more of his well timed runs into the box and maybe give more space on the left to Pogba who haven't had as many opportunities to shoot from distance this season due to opposition always being extremely attentive towards him.

Arsenal fans and their typical complex against Serie A and Juve. The jealousy is hilarious. If Arsenal had even half the skill of Beppe, they'd be Barcelona quality. Juve creates a world class team over 4 years starting with under 200MM EUR in revenue...Arsenal still can't create a world class team. Fact is: Italian managers/ executives are better football minds. English teams just splash out cash without vision other than a few exceptions... All it takes is an Italian manager with a mid-table team to win their league. Easy to win in a league where there are few tactics. Juventus player for player has probably less offensive star power than Manchester City, but we neutralized the team without any issues.

Fact is in football, Italy is just a better football nation. Arsenal for me isn't even relevant - they are the perennial team in the EPL that will finish top 4 in the league, lose in UCL, and never build a team that is globally competitive.

Leicester will be interesting in UCL playing international teams - and unlike the typical EPL team, I wish them all the best.

Funfact: EPL teams I respect...
-Manchester United - Historically has build balanced teams that can defend, unfortunately, the team has been deviating from its successful roots and appearing more like Man City, but with worse ability to sign players.
-Chelsea - Same situation, they get criticized by Farcenal for parking the bus, but it is simply because Arsenal doesn't have the propensity to defend.
- Leicester - Obvious
- Southampton - Great academy, competes despite being raided.

Teams I don't respect
-Arsenal - verbal diarrhea like park the bus, always mediocre, think they are more relevant than they actually are.
-Man City - no vision, just buys without any strategy. Chelsea at least knows how to build a balanced team.
Is it time for the Pogba/Dybala/Rugani/Morata's favorite team growing up was Arsenal fake article yet? It is amusing how quickly those end up on arse-anal-mania.

We have some good players and also great ones BUT we are not on par with Barcelona and Bayern despite what being said...
Could we win the CL - YES! As an outsiders just as other teams can win it!
If we are serious about the CL we shouldnt try winning it as outsiders but win it as favourites! Its difficult to reach the ultimate top level but it can be achieved with a few signings! BUT we need to have the right players for that and sometimes we can get some low cost players bargains and sometimes we will have to splash some $ on them!
The truth is this: We do not have a real strong goalscorer! Mandzukic is the closest thing we have there so we do need a strong one!
I`m not saying Cavani and no one but Cavani as it can be Cavani but also other forwards some like Lewandowski Lukaku and Higuain but it could be even a lower profile player Lacazette Batshuayi (not sure about his lethalness yet) or even a lower profile player which we havent even heard about!
As for Morata-We do need someone to replace him if he is gone but if he doesnt we would still gain a lot from adding that lethal player!
Midfield wise - It depends on formation but we can strengthen our mid as well! Pogba is amazing while Marchisio Khedira are up to the standard even if I would like an upgrade there as well... What we do need in that department is an AM a very strong one or wingers depends on formation!
AM - Need to be a player who can direct the attacking play as well as being dangerous and provide assists/finishing chances when given the chance! Oscar? Not sure if he is that good... Isco? He could very well be this player even if he needs to get that extra step to his game but I believe he will find it here.. As said before it doesnt have to be Isco James Gotze... it could be a less known profile a high risk gamble or a low cost gamble could also be other options I didnt mention!

I want our team to be favorite for every game or at least not the underdog when facing specific teams!
This years Bayern - We could really go pass them as they didnt have the best season in my books they werent as good as last season or the season before not even going to compare them to Hynecks team...
If you look at the teams that reach the final you can definitely see that this could and should have been our season! Real Madrid arent that great - We beat a better Real last season! while Atletico eliminated Barca and we could certainly go past Atletico as I see us the worst possible team for Atletico to face... An organized team with very good defense.. Thats not something they`ll know how to approach!

I`d like nothing less than a Semi Final for next season and know with the right signings we can even do a lot more than SF!

Just shows that only looking at the stats will lead to wrong judgement. I'm sure we do the same thing over here with our targets.
Yeah I can't blame them, they don't watch him enough so will judge on stats. And they want an immediate improvement top star striker, and Moratas 180 mins per goal stat isn't encouraging to read for a fan who haven't seen him enough and looks for more proven figures.
