not saying I want this but I think if a good Zaza offer comes along he is gone. I don't think Zaza enjoys riding the bench any more or less than Cavani likes playing anything other than CF

I'm going by Marotta's quotes and he thinks we'll play with same strikers next season which means he'll go all in for Morata.
I think he realizes he'd have to chop and change the attack again if he signs Cavani which is undesirable.
Can't keep making changes to our forward line like every yr.

And he is incredibly unlikely. I can imagine the demand for him would be sky high.

Ideal is always keeping Morata. Keeping the forwards we have. Best possible solution and keeps our attack stable. And if we manage to offload deadwood, allows us to focus on upgrading our midfield again to 2011-2014 levels. Along with going for a top RB.

You can tell by Beppe's interviews that he is desperate to keep the same squad + only making some slight adjustments.

2018 should be our next yr of substantial changes imo.

Benatia, Goetze, Cavani, Vrsaijko. What a mercato that would be. Extremely doable too. I'm no longer sure of our 352 intentions next season, because Cuadrado leaving changes that plan in a bigger way than we can imagine. Also, I think the board kind of realises that they would like to also give Allegri the chance to play his preferred formation with an AM. Pjanic would be a more versatile fit, but seeing how we adapt to the market dynamics, I can totally see us swoop for Goetze if the price is 20-25m, and give Allegri a legit AM option to work with. And while we are on the topic, I disagree with Carletto and Pep, the kid is not damaged goods, and still has it in him to be a WC player.

Sanchez is just almost impossible IMO. I think we have a better shot at Cavani than we do the former. And Cavani will also come cheaper if we look at wage plus transfer cost.

Cavani is just as expensive and unlikely as Sanchez.Not only that he'll cost a bucketload in wages and transfer fee but we've to also consider that we have had relations with PSG and they wouldn't want to do business with us.

Cavani is a bit of a grey area regards wages, he's in one way the Tevez type opportunity we look to feed off, an experienced striker unhappy in their current situation. This normally opens them up to a lower wage with to go to a league and experience a project where they can find the best version of themselves again. That's really where the situation lies. Cavani is not guaranteed to remain at PSG, because they will also move to replace Ibra, to stay relevant with the other big movers in the mercato this season. In many ways, he player and club are not sharing the best relationship. Yes, PSG and Juve are experiencing a bit of a Cold War, but it's easier to move past these things when they don't share the same league space. We aren't a direct rival, and if the player signals his intention to move to us, don't think PSG will make it very hard for us, if we are up to making the right kind of bid under the circumstances.

We'll follow the template of the 14-15 season.

Use 3-5-2 in the league and use 4-3-1-2 in Europe particularly in big games.
So yeah,we'll most probably target a CM who can play AM.We won't go for a pure AM imo.

With Marchisio's injury,a CM becomes more important at this point.

Why not both?. When marchisio gets back he will bench whoever is in his place after couple of weeks and we will still have the lack of AM as a problem, so better we get someone who can play for marchisio (maybe lemina?) and we get a pure AM who can give us something else in attack when we actually want to attack and propose the game.

If Morata goes,we need Alexis Sanchez/Lacazette mould of players not an out and out CF like Cavani.

I would get cavani with my eyes closed even if it mean displacing or selling Mandzu. Most peeps here dont want Cavani because thats means byebye mandz,,, but in fact if we get cavani for Morata, i prefer Zaza leaving rather than mandz. Cavani and MAndzukic as center forward options is what we need to aim if Morata leaves.

Sanchez of course would be more than welcome (instead of Berardi for example)... but even by not bringing Cavani and berardi...sanchez will cost us gazillion dollars that we will not pay. He will stay in the EPL most likely. He is too expensive and all of you know that.

Morata,Zaza and the surpluses in midfield out.

Cavani, Berardi, Gotze, another CM (mandragora ?) and the rest 0f the money to patch the defence.

In 7 months.

He is 3 years and 10 months older then Morata if that makes you happy. Its neglible enough difference that the focus should only be about who offers more on the pitch. And thats Sanchez, decisive attacker, besides being a winger and AM besides FW too.



But yeah we wont get him, just stating the obvious.

When we talk about stability is only about morata Morata...because Zaza never plays, so him leaving would do us no great harm if replaced with quality (other than making morata sad because his pal is leaving).

Morata leaving is the catalyst for another forward line change.

The ones who will most likely not leave are Mandzukic and Dybala, and guess what...they are our starters...so no biggie.

My point is all around Morata leaving. If he doesnt leave, we just need to sort out what will happen with Zaza. Zaza has kind of being a surplus, since Allegri seems to not be convinced of him, and i assume this because even when he has delivered, Allegri has given little time to him, so his sale is a real option if a good offer arrives. Allegri would sell Zaza first than manzsukic 10 out of 10 times .

Sanchez will make us look much better in terms of play but in terms of finishing off chances Cavani is definitely the guy!

Its funny as people here talking about Morata like he is the best thing happened to football... Yes he is talented but he is no Cavani!
When you compare the two think about comparing Morata to Higuain!
Higuain Cavani are on the same level - Always been! Great scoring ability fast great off the ball killer instinct! You cant seriously say Morata is on the same level as Higuain...

As for the one who said Sanchez vs Morata if the price is the same? Definitely Sanchez!
