he;s not a box to box like vidal. he's a defensive mid just like busquets etc.. remeber last year when he was destroying the likes of yaya toure?. one bad season is not going to kill a player

Honestly we have enough defensive midfielers. Lemina and Sturaro. Want Quality. Pjanic and Isco pls.

Actually we'd need two good players there. One who can be a CAM as well.

Isco+Pjanic would be mental.
We'll need to offload Hernanes,Asamoah and Pereyra or Sturaro depending on offerts. And ye i would rather give up Zaza or Mandzukic than Morata.

I agree. That's why I keep saying we need two CM's at the least. Because we should sell at least one of Asamoah/Hernanes and one because of injuries.

Pjanic & Isco would be stupid. Get one and focus on everything behind him (CM & Defense)

He is not an average player, thats dumb, but yeah he is very inconsistent one. Changes from high quality playmaking/free kicks to completely going awol to mediocre levels.

Average is offcourse an overstatement but he just does not impress me much. I am bit surprised that a big part of tuz regards him as a Dream signing for the playmaker position. I think there is at least 10 players who has hes role around Europe who are better.

IMO Isco would be more expensive than James, considering Real WANT to retain him. People are saying James is impossible...but Isco, Isco, Isco.

James is the better player, but he should be cheaper than Isco considering RM are looking they actually want to rid themselves of James.

Also more clubs would want to sign James because he's the better player obviously so you will see the likes of PSG, City, United bidding 70-80M for him

I also think Real will want to keep isco because he's Spanish and a solid bench option

Pjanic is good but not sure if hes going to push us over the edge in Europe. Lets be honest. Every signing we make has to make a difference in Europe for us if hes not a depth signing. We are on the brink of a perenial semi finals team and we need just a few players to share the responsibilities. We cant buy the players that you can ride to the semis every year so we have to have a very complete squad that can share that role between them. Pjanic is good and would love him here but also would like Gotze or maybe even Oscar for cheap. We really need a quality RB for the future if one is in this mercato but the biggest task of all IMO is to keep Marota and CuadrADO. Marota HAS to stay or we will lose something in the attacking department

We don't really need a RB if Cuadrado stays. Licht, Cuadrado, Padoin and Lirola is enough depth, and lets see if Lirola can develop into a Juve caliber player 1st before spending big on an established RB

Exactly, we need a CB fitst with Chiellini being injured all of the time, Barzagli ageing and Caceres leaving...

I disagree. Licht isnt maintaining his fitness like he was and if he goes down it really limits Allegri in what formation we use. Padoin isnt CL quality and playing Lirola is suicide most likely in the CL. If we keep Cuads we can hold off but will atill be a bit risky IMO. Also if Allgegri is sold on the 3-5-2 then its not as much of an issue

Barzagli also played quite a few games as a RB last season... That makes 3 options + Padoin + Lirola. If we stack every position like that we'll need to buy a bigger team bus... And promoting Lirola would be a complete waste of talent like that.

Also we will need to revamp in 2 years if we dont. We need more CBs because Barza is aging but he can cover CB and RB like a young kid? I think to improve our team we need to buy a Pure RB UNLESS we get a proper AM and keep Quads
