Claudio's position?
:agree:

Not only that with Matic here 433 is closer than ever. He is much better than Marchisio defensively and with him we have Matic-Pogba-Khedira partnership with Marchisio ready to replace any position with an International quality player. We can probably recoup all the expenses with the mids we would be able to sell.

I actually like Matic a lot, he can anchor that mid and cover our defense superbly, his defensive and passing abilities are great! I rate him as one of Chelsea's most important player last season. we can't really judge any of Chelsea's players this season, even Courtois and Hazard is playing like serie b players.

Conte does like to have that workhorse in his midfield thats why the Nainggolan rumor keeps popping up, and then he would probably partner up with someone that can thread those passes like Pirlo did, and he has Cesc.

I have a feeling if Cuadrado is called back, he will go back to his 4-2-4 formation which will work great in EPL, with Hazard and Cuads on the flank, and Costa-Willian/Remy up front. Good chance Matic may leave.

This would probably mean that Pogba will play further up as an AM, even closer to goal which means more combo with Dybala!

i rather consider him a dm, he's pretty strong in tackling. he would fit in our squad easily, but conte already getting rid of his finest defensive asset on midfield? i'm calling bs on this.

You sound like some EPL fan. You probably don't know shit about football. And this is all I have to say about Matic.

I admit I dont know much about them but considering stats (not counting mega superstars but Ozil) here are the most impressive players (primary assisting wise but also goals stats as secondary):
Hakim Zyech (forward)- 2016-32GP 17G 10A 2015-31GP 11G 16A
Ozil - 2016-34GP 6G 18A 2015-21GP 4G 5A
Christian Eriksen (AM) 2016-31GP 6G 13A 2015-37GP 10G 2A
Riyad Mahrez (AM) - 2016-34GP 17G 11A 2015-25GP 4G 3A
Dimitri Payet (AM) - 2016-27GP 9G 10A 2015-35GP 7G 17A 29 years old
Mkhitaryan (AM) - 2016-27GP 11G 15A 2015-21GP 3G 4A
Mahmoud Dahoud - 2016-26GP 5G 8A
Batshuayi - 2016-31GP 16G 9A 2015-6GP 9G 0A (was a sub at 2015 for many games so not really reflecting)
Koke - 2016-32GP 5G 13A 2015-33GP 2G 10A
Saponara - 2016-30GP 5G 10A 2015-17GP 7G 3A

Koke is established at a top club but I wouldnt count him as a mega superstar and dont think he is impossible but he will be tough...

Matic better than Marchisio defensively :shifty: Matic has been a slalom pole this season and doesn't even start for Chelsea who rather play Mikel at this point. There is no way that Matic would start over a fit Marchisio. He would need to battle with Khedira for a place in the side and at the moment Khedira is much better. If Matic finds his 2014/2015 form he would be useful as a box to box midfielder.

:agree: The biggest lacking in that squad is in the DM department. They have Matic and Mikel (who explicitly announced that he is leaving if he wont be in the first team which he wont be) thats it.

He might have asked to leave though after this horrible season and Chelsea will spend big so there is a chance he leaves but it looks unlikely. I'd love to have him and I allegri should be able to bring back his form again especially that he will be playing next to Pogba and Khedira.

Milan face Galliani, Donnarumma exit? FI
Maybe we can make a deal with Milan with 15M for him loan him to Milan for 2 years and if he is to play 10 games in our team we will have to pay 10M more that way Milan get money while keeping him for 2 years (if they need the money so badly)

If we're going after experienced players like Matic, then perhaps Marchisio is out for longer than we think.
Need reliable source to confirm our interest in him though.
