Yeah but there's talk like that every Summer. The problem is it's not that easy. If it was I'm sure our management would just do that.

Depth is important because we play a lot of games. Injuries, suspensions and drops of form happen and we saw that perfectly this season. There's a saying "your team is as good as your bench" for a reason and we experienced it this year too, even in CL where we were thrown out just by Bayern's depth (Coman and Thiago). When the tie is so close it's down to details and bench is one of those important details.

I think you underrate the players mentioned above a lot but I guess it comes out of you just because of impatience. It's not enough to just spend big to win CL. You have to be the best team on organizational level to win it. Your team has to function perfectly, otherwise no money will win it for you. The biggest part of the job is there to be done by Allegri, not Marotta IMO. Allegri has to find the perfect balance between attack and defence, plus make the team confident when we play in Europe. Atletico aren't big spenders nor they have that many big names but they managed to do it again. Fecking Torres plays in attack for them and they are one step from winning it (which they will IMO, but we'll see).

Give me a WC AM that's affordable and gives us guarantees. Tbh I see no name on the market that fits the criteria.

Our starting eleven is good as it is.No harm in continuing with the same policy.Get talented young players who could be potential starters.

Pogba,Dybala,Sandro,Morata who were all bench players initially are now key components of the squad.Ofcourse you're not going to have 100% success rate(see Isla) but this strategy has been largely successful.If management are willing to pay substantial sum for Gomes,they must feel he's worth it and you gotta trust our scouts considering how spot on they've been all these yrs.

Plus You can't really say that this 20 for Morata is bad. We just payed less in front.

Berardi will be bought for the future starting 11. He will start as Dybala did (as someone already mentioned) to get used to the team and what Allegri wants him to do. The kid is Italy's future at the moment and he wouldn't be wasted on the bench. Juve has found a way to keep at least one of their hands on him for a couple years now so its pretty clear that the club must value him.

I think we need more technical ability in this team so we can withstand high pressing teams like Bayern and Barca. Against Atletico, Bayern couldn't take the ball of them early. Those Atletico players were so good on the ball. I think we need an Andre Gomes type in midfield who can receive the ball and push it in tight spaces. Pogba is too alone in that department. I also think we need a technical option to Lichsteiner. Bayern targeted him almost every time and he doesn't have the ability to get himself out of those situations. Cuadrado helped him out alot but it seems like he's leaving.

last mercato was pretty special: pirlo and tevez left, and the greedy drunkard announced his desire to leave, too. still, we splashed out ~40m for dybala, which seemed a bit steep for some, but was 100% justified when allegri finally made him a proper seconda punta.

we don't necessarily need an am to win the cl. don't forget, we were without some of our best players against bayern, and were a minute from eliminating them.

yupp, i gave a 5/10 for the last summer mercato. now i have some more trust in paratici, marotta and especially allegri. i don't even mind that we only have a slim chance to hold on to cuadrado and morata. they'll manage that.

As far as I remember those were Oscar and Isco (probably I forgot someone else). Both publicity said they didn't want to leave their clubs and their prices were very high.

Tbh I'd hate to see Juve drop the rumoured 40m for Oscar who stagnated at Chelsea a lot. He's sluggish and IMO he'd be much better as regista (mostly due to him being so slow). Isco is the more promising player, I'd welcome him here but so far nothing came out of it. Probably Madrid don't want to sell or the player doesn't want to go. Seeing our rather serious interest in Gomes I can say there are some big obstacles regarding Isco because he's a quality player that would fit very nicely here IMO. Gomes himself is actually an attractive name too. Mourinho and Simeone want him if you're to believe the rumours. I guess it's not too bad.

We spend a lot every Summer, I don't get your comment about spending tbh. The 350m is a fresh thing and on top of that we already got 40m Dybala and 26m Alex Sandro. If you throw 30m+ Gomes into it, plus 25m Berardi it doesn't look like unwillingness to spend.

I understand your point very well, you want the very top players with big names but the management doesn't operate that way and I can't fault them tbh. We know very little about negotiations, we don't know if Marotta is talking to RM about James or not (for example). I guess he checks those routes you'd love, to see if there's some opportunity to seize. If there's not he just moves onto next target.

David Silva anyone? I haven't watched him closely except in the CL in the last couple of years, but I think the guy can still go. Cheap tenporary fix for AM perhaps.

The technical level I mentioned a few times already too. It's mostly because Allegri thinks that way and he talks about the technical level all the time.
Agreed about Atleti. We had that ability last season when we made it to the final but with so many changes there's the need to rebuild it as we clearly lost it in the process. I also think Gomes would add that up to our midfiled, that's why I'm quite excited about the guy even though I saw him play live very little (just a few games, lol).

Sums it up perfectly. And I think our management is more than willing to spend big enough on a player that fits their idea of helping us achieve our objective. We're one or two starters away from that and I hope Marotta gets these last touches right.

Remember they can't sign new players next year. They will either stick with him for 2 more years or sell him now while they can get a replacement. How many shirts can a guy sell after 7 years? This would be more of a marketing move rather than a sporting one.

Out of that list only Kolarov is surplus maybe Yaya as well but Sagna and Fernandinho are both starters and will quite probably be there next season.

Kolarov, Caballero, Demichelis, Bony is even worse list of players and they will probably all leave.
