Why not?! Same as the Morata deal.. Isco 35M with Real have the option to re-purchase him for 50M

Honestly I find it hard finding a formation that can make us have both Cuadrado and an AM behind the forwards... maybe 4-2-3-1 but then Pogba`s talent goes to waste in that formation...

So this summer is going to be either 3-5-2 with Cuad and Berardi as our purchases and maybe a CM or 4-3-1-2 which means an AM will be purchased
I really like formations with AM but Cuadrado did a very good job this season his speed and technique will surely be missed!
So should we go on Cuad or an AM?
In any case I hope we get a forward I just dont like Mandzukic play even if he definitely has his qualities

Why not? Real paid close to 40M for him. They will either keep him or look to sell for a profit. They have absolutely no reason to do such a deal again, neither do we

As for the 2nd part, we won't be looking to sign an AM at any cost so you can expect a scenario where we won't get one (take last summer as an example). If there is no one in our price range that can improve the team we won't sign one. Simple

At the moment we have a very good group for teams without AM's, and would see significant sacrifices if we'd play one.

Why bother tbh. Scrap that AM off the list.

Like every position, sign if an interesting opportunity presents itself.

So with Claudio out probably til Autumn we need do but Lemina. Toure looking more inviting too to give us some solidity there.

Priority should be keeping Cuadrado (and Morata) and bringing in Berardi. Then a defender (CB or RB) and then a CM or AM depending on what opportunities arrise

We are missing a supporting player that sacrifices everything for the team, and you'd get a selfish undependable player that does nothing for the team.

No hust, thats a terrible idea

its nice to have players that can decide a game tho. We have always had players that did little for the unit but very decisive. I think he would do well here Anyways and away from that money hungry club.

The team setting here is completely different than City's

I don't think we will be interested considering his high wage demands and age. Remember we don't even want Ibra. If we would look at CMs it should be young ones, like Diawara or Bazoer

Apart from replacing Caceres and keeping Morata, our biggest priority is gonna get some reliable players in the middle. We already have two not so physically reliable players in Khedira and Asa, and we are pushing Hernanes to China, and Marchisio's injury. We definitely need at least one if not two players in the middle. We can go by Serie A without the reinforcements in the middle but not good enough for Europe.

Lemina being signed up was pretty uncertain up to this point, especially with Marseille already decided they not gonna sign either De Ceglie or Isla, means we got to fork out the cash for Lemina rather having one of them to bring the price down. But with Marchisio's injury, it has opened up a door for Lemina to prove in the next 5 games if Marota should take up the option and sign him outright or not.

Has anyone here watched much of Sampdoria's Fernando(bought from Shakhtar) and if so what would you think of him as an option to fill the Marchisio-shaped hole in our midfield? Whoscored likes him and his movement & distribution looked good on youtube, but you always have to take those with a fist full of salt.

No links, just throwing it out there. Realistically the injury probably makes us more interested in Diawara and possibly keeping Mandragora here next season.

He is crap, really. I haven't watch him much in Samp, but in Shakhtar he was very bad, like really bad. Tactical mistakes, brainfarts, you name it. I don't think he is better then Nanes and Lemina tbh.
