It would be the first time that juventus did not redeem a player they considered to have spend a succesfull loan period here.

Zach, they don't have a right of redemption. IF Chelsea says they want him back, there is little that we can do. Which makes the whole lack of a redemption clause fairly maddening, because everybody knew what he could do in Serie A.

Maybe Chelsea didnt want to accept an option after the Salah fiasco last summer. It is strange that we dont have an option considering we always do that, even with mediocre players

Apparently it's not as we saw in CL this year. First we fucked up our group against minnows like BMG and Sevilla and then we weren't good enough on technical level against Bayern (giving away like 70% of possession indicates it's not enough). We're too weak in midfield now that's for sure. With Pirlo and Vidal gone and Khedira + Pereyra being often injured it got worse than it was last year and it's reflected in our CL campaign. Some steps need to be taken.


About Andre Gomes: the kid plays as LCM in 433 for Valencia this season as far as I know. He's to them what Pogba is to us more or less (I saw Valenica this season like twice only though). Nipples are interested in the kid too.

We created great chances and scored as much as Bayern in 2 games regular time. We were the better team up until the Morata sub and in the last 30 minutes of the 1st leg. So i don't see an issue there

In the group stage we still werent at the top of our game and still had 3 great games, 1 okayish (could have been a good-great one if not for Hernanes red) and 2 bad games. In those bad games we still were the better team and created more than our opponent.

Like I said, we don't lack creativity in our starting 11, our bench is kinda weak if Morata and Cuadrado are starting since Pereyra seems less than half the player he was last season and Hernanes is crap. Berardi should fix that issue and a new CM/AM eventually if we do sign one (Paratici apparently was in Paris for Pastore)

Not really. I train in Hoboken/Kiel. Very large percentage of berber descend moroccans. None of them understand strenght spots. Working out is 100% appearance for them. Looking fit and strong, doesnt matter if you are or not. Either that or fighting sports.

Anyway Van Gaal had a plan which failed or its execution failed. Nobody knows, but I am certain he had his reasons for playing Young there. Had it worked he would have been called a genius and that wouldn't be fair either. He has won a lot and created a lot of players and clubs - he ain't stupid.

It is too easy to say Young would have been better on the left, he is a natural there and Martial is a natural CF.

Van Gaal is clueless.

Not only he played a mediocre winger upfront and a good forward like Martial wing, but he also plays Lingard who is a winger Central AM, absolutely useless there (except one fluke game vs city) and the central AM playmaker Mata on right wing. Where he can't do anything, he receives the ball and tries to create for forward runs, but there aren't non, since it's supposed to primarily come from the wings where he is playing.

Ever since i saw juve, its always about grind opponent to death, with some moment of brilliance (Baggio, Zidane, DP, more recent Pogs, Tevez sometimes, and Dybala)

We always had hardworking type player, so when vidal played as AM last season it's really bring back memories. Midfield of Conte Davids Tachinardi Nedved and Camo, all fighter. I think Midfield without Isco wont hurt us that much.

Who will be more expensive? ISco or Gomez?...because i can see us going for the cheaper if we are going to try to save MOrata from real madrid claws. That operation will prove costly for sure. I suppouse minimum of 30 mils. Bererdi for 25 mils...there go 55 mils.

We need to sort what we will do with Zaza and Mandzukic. I dont know how the management will proceed here.

Outgoers on midfield: Asamoah(loan or sell, the point is to get him out asap), Pereyra (sell), Hernanes (obvious), PAdoin (we never use him).
With some luck we will get 15 mils from all of those.

Then start filling the gaps on midfield and defense.

Gomes is the player that will still be off some use in difficult games, while delivering an acceptable workrate to juventus standards.

I think we need to take in account thats the money real was going to pay us to activate the clause. At the very least, we should meet that parameter to negotiate with them IMO....and thats not even taking in account future suitors who will present offers to real above those numbers, as Real is not obliged to negotiate or sell him to us. But IMO there is where Morata´s will can enter into equation and force real to negotiate with only us since he will reject them.... I hope.

I wouldn't say they were lucky, their bench made the difference (Thiago and Coman). They were better by that bit but we've made so many avoidable mistakes it's not even funny. We still need improvements in midfield IMO as the only reliable players there are Pogba and Marchisio. Khedira is a guarantee too but he misses a lot of games which is a problem.

It basically makes your team run less, your defence doesn't have to stand on its toes all the time. We were very good at that last year when we reached the final and we need to strengthen our midfield to make it reach that level again. Things will get a lot easier for us.

Then IMO we should worry for buy cuadrado for cheap, loan another year lemina, sell Zaza or Mandzu, sell Sturaro or Pereyra, Loan hernanes, renew Cáceres or bring another CB, loan Asamoah, sign Banega for free

i dont know what the stats say but i think we kept a good amount of possession in most of our games this season. vs Bayern (or Barca) it will be hard for anyone to keep possession close to 50%, and i like us playing counterattacking football against such sides anyway.

about signing a new CM/AM, i agree that we should be looking for a player there, especially since i doubt Asamoah and Pereyra will return to an acceptable fitness level and form (id love to see it, but i doubt). 4th choice CM and good enough to start at AM type of player. i think we will try for Pastore actually. im guessing PSG will go for Pjanic or Kroos so Pastore is surplus for them. opportunity signing right there
