Wait, he is out of contract? Then I would take gamble on him if they can come to understanding with him (on footballing terms), his high salary demands wouldnt be as tough of an obstacle without the transfer fee part.

He's a cunt though.
He is, but irrelevant if he helps get closer to your goals of winning titles, specifically CL.

He remains a good player, but he's on the decline. We could do better If we plan to sign a midfielder, which would make giving him the high wages he would command not worth it.

Don't know how much it would affect us defensively but seeing both Pogba and Yaya Toure going forward would make most teams shit their pants.

I would really love Yaya here. He's like a power tank...great at going forward, great at protecting the ball with his body, good at long shots. He would bring much experience and I saw quite a few of City's games and he's really one of their leaders. He's a big improvement over Khedira.

True defenitely can do better, mainly because of the age part of the equation. But salary wise, its a combination of competing for big titles and getting good salary, I think we would be above most options he will get (except PSG who I could see go for him for sure). Rest of his options I take would be a move downwards for him. So essentially will be a combo of decreasing salary demands for opportunity to remain on this level, coupled with the fact he is on short term defenitely better player then most current opportunities we could get for midfield. Because he is a midfielder who litterally scores double figures without even trying. So power house element he could add to us thats already a functioning unit could be high.

He's not out of contract, it runs till 2017. Man City aren't extending it and his agent apparently said that Yaya will buy the last year of his contract out (using that FIFA clause which no one uses) if City doesn't offer an extension before the the transfer window opens this summer. So basically he'll go to a club which will give him a substantial signing on bonus and a 3-5 year contract with hefty salary.

Ahhh ok, understood, thought it was odd to read out of contract when I hadnt heard it before (he would be biggiest bosman name with Zlatan so would noticed). Yeah if he is going to that length to leave them, yeah I figure it will be even more difficult to come to terms with him in terms of salary, will be quite an obstacle if we were interested.

Ancelotti's Christmas tree (4-3-2-1)?

Buffon
Licht/new RB-Barzagli-Bonucci-Alex Sandro
Khedira-Marchisio-Pogba
Berardi-Dybala
Morata

We could also put Dybala more on the right enabling him to cutting in with his strong left foot. Berardi has played on the right for years but I think he could do well on the left as his right foot is decent (unlike Dybala's) and he can cross very well.
Dybala has been so good as our SS in a 2 striker parntership, i dont see why we should change his position to adjust Berardi. we should keep playing with 2 upfront with Dybala here so the only way for Berardi to find a starting spot is behind 2 stikers in a 4-3-1-2. or the occasional 4-3-3 we would probably play

No Osman, Yaya Toure is a player that would have a serious negative impact on the team

I doubt your expertise brohim, plays for the wrong City, he isnt Leicester player Zach ;)

But since you havent watched him enough, I'll update you to the kind level of midfielder he is, kind that does this in a single season:

The big problem with Toure, is the big problem with City, and why this is a special situation.

Toure does not track back one bit. He does not work for the team at all. Both these factors are critical to ANY midfielder at juventus. We even got BOTH our forwards tracking back.

Toure does not even work hard offensively, UNLESS he feels there is personal gain to be had, that he could score a goal. He will NOT run for the team or a fellow player. This has been the recurring story on MNF for over 2 years now, and THE biggest problem any City coach will face. He is egoistical and lazy.

Toure scores double figures, because thats all he cares about. Many here will trash Ronaldo if he doesnt celebrate cause an opponent got the assist to score instead of him. But he'll keep working offensively. Toure only cares about doing something if HE can score.

Its the definition of a player who will absolutely murder weak teams or be opportunistic, but become the prime reason why his team will never beat any big opponent in europe.

Personally, i think its the biggest waste of talent i've seen. If Toure had the work rate and selflessness of any current juventus midfielder, he would be shit all over the likes of Vieira.

But he is not. I hate a player like him. I hate his mentality. I love that fucking Sturaro was better in the same game.

That would be the arsenal way.

If the tactic to beat the opponent with highest chance requires us to go double wings while keeping an plate mail central axis, then Dybala will be $#@!ing benched
Lets agree to disagree. I only benched Dybala if he's injured.... Even if you bring Cavani, I would put Dybala as a first choice

If Beppe.manage to keep that starting line up I would consider become into his church... So fucking Sexy
