One thing that could be important for Pogba's future here, at least as far as money is concerned, is that he did just sign with Adidas for something like 4M euros per season.

When you consider that we can still bump his salary a little, and there are other endorsement opportunities to be had, well, he's not exactly hurting financially. He'll already be earning over 10M gross per season with just his current salary and the adidas money, which isn't that bad for somebody who just turned 23.

Also, he just took the number 10, has strong connections with the club and fans, and wants to be a Juve legend. He seems to want to be considered with guys like Platini and Trezeguet, and he's certainly got some work to do to get into that company.

He also seems to get along really, really well with his teammates. We have a great young nucleus, growing all the time, and I can see the appeal in being a protagonist in a young, fun, winning team. A perfect place to grow, and don't discount the sporting aspect in all of this, our management has proven to be very capable. As Sergio said, Pogba is at a top 5 club right now -- and it's a club that has significant room for growth with the pieces that are already here. Add a couple more pieces, and we can take Europe.

Even though last season I figured he'd leave after the Euros, at this point I feel the way I felt earlier this season after he took the 10, and I don't see him being sold this summer.

The real question is, who is gonna be the anual freebie we are going to get this summer? Hopefully Banega.
Ibra hopefully

I don't know about you guys but for me Khedira just doesn't look good enough.

Marchisio, Pogba and somebody else should be our midfield, Khedira shouldn't be first choice.
did you see that registaesque ( @Osman surely noticed) pass from him on the 1st goal. hes good enough, problem is, hes injured too often so we need a 4th quality choice there. go all in on Gundogan or Pjanic id say

Considering how we like to play I would like us to sign a dynamic AM someone like Nedved would be perfect. Wouldn't be sad if we'd be able to sign someone less dynamic like Götze/Isco but given the choice I'd look for someone with different characteristics.

Its going to be a huger summer transfer window this:

Firstly, we got a few out of contracts situation that needs to be dealt immediately, Barzaghli and Evra. Both should renew at least 1 year if not more.

Then we got to make decision on Lemina, 10 mill , Berardi at least 25 mill and Cuadrado 20 mill.

Then we go to fend out interest on Pogba and Morata.

Big question marks on the future of Asamoah, Hernanes and Zaza. Do we sell or stick with them?

And finally we still got to improve the squad, especially the midfield . Need to keep position better, and attack better.

I just wonder what if we had signed Draxler instead of Hernanes.

Whatever AM we try to sign this summer, I want someone who's agile enough and basically someone who's quick off the ball.
Saponara is one name but I don't think he's ready to start for Juventus.
Mkhitaryan could be a desirable option realistically speaking.

Just no slow AM's.

They paid €90m for James. He isn't going to go for anywhere less than that despite his inconsistencies.
I don't believe that. I think if we approached them and said "How much would James cost?" We'd get a figure around there or higher. If they approached us for Pogba, they'd let him go for a lot cheaper. After all, look what Higuain went for, and Ozil. If they approached us for Pogba, and we wanted James as part of the deal, his implied value would fall a lot. It is all about leverage, and RM has shown repeatedly that they will go to desperate lengths to get their man.

Higuain-€40m
Özil-€50m
Di Maria-€90m

All inflated deals at the time.

RM buy big but they also sell big these days.A RM player on the market is like striking gold for desperate EPL teams and you know they'll go to any lengths which plays in RM's favour and they have exploited this to their credit in the past few seasons.

we need to win fast because Gigi, Barza...are not getting any younger and we won't be able to keep Pogba forever. Then we have the Morata and Cuadrado situations. A lot to do next year. Let's not even think about the injuries. :sigh:

Definitely agree with this as I stated before our play style suits a dynamic AM. Mkhitaryan would fit really well in our team not sure he's moving anywhere though.

And it's also worth mentioning that they made huge profits on all three.

I agree on Di Maria, but Ozil & Higuain were very affordable in the context of other deals. Ozil was thought of as one of the best #10s in the world at the time. Higuain compared to Falcao & Cavani was a bargain.

Its easy to talk in hindsight but it dint look as a bargain back then in 2013.Remember when both us and Arsenal weren't willing to pay €25m+ for a benchwarmer.
Napoli got the Cavani money and presented an inflated offer which Madrid gladly accepted.
Madrid know that they can easily trigger a bidding war these days. The very fact of being a Madrid player especially a quality ones means they are perceived as marketable options for teams like United, PSG, City etc and with the EPL desperately lacking in star power they'll go to any extent to bag their player.
This is the reality of today.Madrid in 2016 as per my observation don't do favours to other clubs or their players. They'll just offload their players to the highest bidder. It's pure business and it's all about the balance sheet.

But not all clubs are operating in a similar way.Ruthless and cold-hearted like Madrid.

Take Bayern as an example who leave it to the player's choice. They don't care about the money.

This is why I suggested Götze could be a realistic opportunity only if he's interested to play in Italy.

Its easy if Pogba leaves i expect us to completly rebuild the midfield with am beign bought. If he stays we will just buy Rb, Berardi and Cuadrado. I woul also sell Zaza if Morata gonna stay.

I expect Pogba will ask to leave to be honest. Raiola will also push this season, especially if we win the Scudetto. He wants the CL now, and last night will probably make him question his will to be at Juve in order to get that done, but I can assure him right now, he would be wrong to leave us. This team is getting closer to the title with every passing season, with or without him. I would indicate though that he will leave this season, and we perhaps will get Allegri the AM he needs but would also then have to prioritise a CM and RB, maybe even LB depending on what we intend to do with Asa.
This will be the worst season to have 100 mills on your hands. Everyone will be spending like crazy. There will be incredible competition for every half decent player in the world. We should weather the storm next summer by focusing all our efforts on one top CM/CAM that is leaving Madrid + depth signings while keeping Pogba. The season after when City, United, PSG, Chelsea, Liverpool, Madrid have finished their shopping spree we can then sell Pogba and do something with the money without having 6-7 billionaire clubs competing with us for players. They'll get most of their signings done this summer as they all need to massively rebuild.
